When (and why) did the IWC/online fans turn on Dolph Ziggler? I remember him being regarded as being an untapped master in the ring with limitless potential according to your average poster/viewer/commenter and now he's regarded as being either frankly mediocre or total, hot garbage

As soon as he just stopped trying. Ziggler has had the same match for years now and there's no reason to care.

So I just read over Scott Halls interview with sports illustrated I think it was and he goes on to say the following about Sting and HHH's match rehearsal before Mania

"So we are all in there (ring) again and I'm next to Hulk on the ring apron and Triple H is going over the match and then he (HHH) goes " ok he will break the sledgehammer then i'll hit him with the sledgehammer and cover him 1-2-3". I look at Hulk and Hulk looks at me and I was thinking Sting what kind of lawyer do you have bro. You're coming in the door doing a job you weren't even guaranteed to go over?"

I found it interesting because I was thinking Sting couldn't win going into it mainly because I thought it could be Stings only match and it would be a kick in the balls to have one of your greatest ever to lose to a 1 time only guy even if Sting is my boy. Hall also goes on to mention that that was Vinces way of letting everyone know they won (which is also interesting coming from a guy that was at both places)

Do you think Hall was right in thinking Sting should of went over? Do you think it was a bad decision to have Sting facing HHH at Mania? And last one, would fans be as angry if Sting lost to another vet other than HHH.? Because he isn't the most well liked bloke around.

Yes. There was absolutely no reason to have HHH win that match other than one last shot at WCW.

Sting vs. HHH was fine for a match as HHH is one of the few who could get a good match out of him at this point.

It wouldn't have been bad if Sting had lost. It was the way he lost.

I'm probably the biggest John Cena fan on this forum but I've recently been watching Attitude Era with a hint of Ric Flair on the side via WWE Network. I say that to say this: I can point to legendary Austin, Rock, Flair, even Kane promos...does John. Cena have a legendary promo? I remember he's cut some hilarious ones in 05-07 but i cant seem to remember any long lasting promos etched in history. Heck i thought he talked circles around Rock in 2012 but none of the promos were legendary imo. Maybe you disagree or can point me to some to refresh my memory?

Why do so many "hardcore" fans seem unable to understand subtle storytelling?

Eg: Last RAW ended with Brock giving an F-5 to Roman Reigns who was down from a beating compliments the Main Active Heels on the roster. When Brock was going to the back, the show ended with both guys looking at each other and smirking.

Why is it so difficult to understand that was basically a recall of two guys who have unfinished business from a previous encounter?
Then, I see so many of the same slamming WWE for not paying attention to details in storylines.

I wouldn't say that is complaining, rather, I just feel that subtle storytelling like the example I mentioned should be things 'smark' fans should pick-up quite easily, but yet it amazes how many don't really understand such whatsoever. Really is mind-boggling at times.

Whats your opinion on some of those matches that most likely all are going to happen

Where does Styles fit in because it looks like early on he's not strictly going to NXT

No on Orton vs. Bubba for a variety of reasons.

Styles is probably in the upper midcard. Maybe against Owens.

New and improved, doesn't give a shit, One vs All Roman Reigns should be booked as far more of a match for Brock the Conqueror, especially if he goes through the majority of the roster in the Rumble and deals decisively with HHH.
