I was listening to Wade Keller on Austin podcast form this past Thurs. & he was talking about the "This is Awesome" chants, basically blaming them for ruining wrestling, & saying those chants are a clear sign that the audience is not emotionally invested in the match & the talent in the ring is just working toward the chants, & then going as far as to say he feels that if wrestlers get a "This is awesome" chant during their match that they should be fined as soon as they get to the back. Do you agree with him? Are "This is awesome" chants ruining matches? Should wrestlers be fined for getting a "This is Aweosme" chant during their match?

Did Chris Benoit ever have a one on one match with Shawn Michaels?

Yeah a few times on Raw in 2004.

Does Cena/Undertaker at WrestleMania go on last or do they give the spotlight to Reigns for his big moment?

Depends on the buildup. If Undertaker's career is on the line, Undertaker vs. Cena.

That's a bit extreme. The wrestlers can't really control what the fans say while they're in the ring and it should be more on the agents if the style isn't working. There's a difference between playing to the crowd and the crowd appreciating you, which is where this plan falls apart.

Why did the WWE not do one of those Rivalries episodes on the Undertaker vs Kane during the Undertaker week on the Network?

I think they want us to forget that they used to fight.

It's probably because they were teaming up that week. They'll do it in the future surely.

Could you imagine the heat if they had Reigns turn heel on DB at WM32? It would be amazing. It would be a huge longshot considering that would require A) them turning Reigns heel, and B) DB being back in time. But just imagine face Reigns takes it off Sheamus, say at TLC or the Rumble. DB returns and wins the RR. Face Reigns and DB start their feud heading towards WM32. This will obviously mean Reigns will be booed by the majority because it's DB. I think they should have Reigns turn in the match. Not by cheating, but by the psychology of the match. Sort of like a double turn, but obviously DB is already a face. This would turn him heel and he wouldn't even have to be an Authority stooge.

I ignore Fast Lane because it wouldn't be the first time EC/FL had the champion not defend by being in a meaningless tag match. League of Nations v. Reigns' stable maybe.

Favorite wrestler podcast? For me, it's Austin #1, Cabana #2, and Jericho #3. I respect everything Jericho has done for the business, but he comes across kinda fake with his laugh/talking. Are there other consistently good podcasts I'm forgetting that you'd recommend?

Timing never worked out, but do you think a Benoit v Foley match would have been good? I don't think they ever faced off.

Not that I'm aware of. That would be an awkward match but it could be good.

I'm good without Bryan being back. I can't take his fans hijacking the shows for six months at a time.

Austin for sure, though it's the only one I listen to.

Well the Wrestling Wars podcast certainly doesn't fucking suck...

Well said.

I missed Raw this week, what was the reason ADR joined the league of nations?? At least with the other three it made sense as they'd teamed up before the storyline.

Bringing you another Hash-patented Monday Night Wars era alternate history question...

Austin gets injured and retires, Michaels doesn't get injured, Hogan returns to WWF in 1998 on a big-money contract. Does the Rock still manage to break through to the main event?

Oh yeah. You can't stop that kind of talent. They knew what they had with him in summer 1997.

Side note: Hogan was VERY close to coming back and winning the Rumble as a heel in 1999 to set up Hogan vs. Austin at Mania XV.
