Given the rumours of Kane feuding with Roman Reigns next...though I do believe Reigns beat Kane before moving onto Orton at SummerSlam 2014... is Triple H coming up at SummerSlam perhaps for Roman Reigns?

Also, if yes, does that mean Triple H went over Sting at Mania in order to keep him for Reigns?

It's possible yeah.

That idea is HHH 101. He had to beat Booker at Wrestlemania to keep him strong for the Goldberg feud, FOUR MONTHS LATER.

Booker would have been the best choice, only to drop it back in the summer. Booker could have lost it back the next night, but you have that big moment at Wrestlemania and everything looks a lot better.

Any recommendations for Barry Windham matches on the Network for me to check out?

Fuckin. All of them.

Windham has been the biggest revelation for me since getting the network. Holy shit what a great worker, and ability for a guy 6'9.

Also, If Punk was going to drop to Rock at Rumble, him not dropping it to Ryback was beyond fucking unforgiveable.....He could have taken it back at TLC is wild-assed match full of intereferance and then dropped to the rock a month later.

I threw my toys out of the crib over it then, and I still refuse to pick them up. That was fucking mind boggling.

I agree with Ryback. I also agree that they should have let him win it even if just for a month or 2 either way.

If Undertaker was going to wrestle all these Wrestlemanias after the fact, should they have just booked Lesnar better from the start and then saved the streak for Cena at 32 or something?

Coincidentally, I'm watching Raw from early 1998 and Windham just popped up, facing Jarrett for the NWA North American title when Cornette brought it back. Surely not his best work but I wasn't unimpressed.

How would feel about Neville winning some sort of multi-man match to become the new IC champion?

I've heard worse ideas but I don't want it to happen yet. That belt is too much of a curse.

Fuckin. All of them.

This line sums up Windham (or any wrestler for that matter) better than anything I've ever heard:

Interviewer: Can you talk about the hour long TV match you had with Ric Flair that tore the house down?

Windham: You're going to have to be more specific.

Interviewer: It was named Match of the Year and called perhaps the best TV match ever.

Windham: You're going to have to be more specific.

Yep. Lesnar really was just in the right place at the right time booking wise.

Billed 6'7, actually 6'4, 6'5. Bumps like Seth fuckin Rollins though, the shit is off the goddamn charts.

There's some mind blowing stuff with Flair and a solid match with Bam Bam Bigelow from Starrcade 1988 that is worth checking out.

Surprised he never got a real main event run with a belt. Ron Garvin got one, but this guy couldn't?

Garvin's title reign is a really different story and not something to be proud of.

Oh dude that isn't Barry Windham. That's the shell of a guy whose spirit has been ripped out, stepped on, fed to some demon and then spat back into his body.

That's what I was watching, and why I asked for some recommendations. Barry was old and out of shape then, but I could see he still had 'something' and in his younger days would have been awesome. I'm looking forward to watching some of his classic NWA work with Flair.

Playlist of Meltzer discussing all the Wrestlemanias. For '98, he claimed that Tyson's people made an offer to WCW to jump ship, as they hadn't actually signed a contract outright initially. They wanted 4.5 million apparently, but Eric turned them down.

So, what would have happened if Tyson had gone to WCW for say Starrcade '97 as the guest referee for the Sting/Hogan match, and did some sort of an angle with Sting to pin Hogan and fuck up the nWo? And what would have happened to the 'E?
