In the ring, his hardcore match with Foley.
Not likely but I'd chuckle.
Does Cena belittling and ridiculing his opponents do anything for them?
What do you think kept the WWE from going with Luger as the champ at SummerSlam given all the momentum he had entering that event?
One problem that is often heard when it comes to WWE programming is their current lack of star power. I was watching Guest Booker with Gary Hart last night and he mentioned that the best way to make a main event star is to take a guy who has great potential and have them travel with other top guys, this way you could learn from them night to night for months on end on top of learning through experience. Personally I think there is something to that and makes more sense then any other way I've heard of building a main event star.
Although I'm sure this is done to a point, I'm sure its commonplace for a trainer and former main eventer to sit down with stars from time to time and go over their match, promo's and talk about their positives and negatives but at the same time only so much can be learned in wrestling school, much like anything else and there is only so much knowledge that can be transferred when you only have 5 minutes to sit and talk with lets say Reigns.
With all this said do you think it would help things pairing wrestlers up with legit main eventers/legends and have them travel together to hone their skills? Obviously it wouldn't be 7 days a week for months on end but they got plenty of legends on payroll and I'm sure you could find some that would be more than willing to travel with an up and comer for a few weeks and help them out and after a certain amount of time pair the same guy up with another legend for a few weeks to get more of a knowledge transfer.
For example, lets say Reigns has 4 days on and 3 days off. For the 4 days he's on the road have Flair travel with him, stay with him and go over everything he does on screen or in front of an audience. When Flair decided he needs a break for a bit you can give Flair a break and bring in Piper to work with him doing the same deal and so on.
P.S. My apologies for the long winded post.
It's possible and would make the most sense.
Emotional.
