That's a bit long. The fans were digging it but it felt like shock for the sake of a shock.

Well, thew thing is, you hear people complaining all the time about how bad the tag-team division is, yet as soon as a team gets over they break them up and worse the same fans who complain about the tag-team division being so bad WANT them broken up and think anyone who wants them kept together must be nuts. What's up with that?

In WWE, teams are made to be split up because it worked so well with the Rockers. As for the fans, they have no idea what they want.

Why would they think that? WWE writers aren't the ones that are wrong. It's the people that don't get it. All those criticisms are just proof that fans don't understand these writers that Stephanie hired and Stephanie can't be wrong of course.

^^^^^ New best answer ever :lmao: You're a man after my own heart :p

Eh I try.

I've been watching through a number of Jim Cornette's shoot interviews on and I find myself tending to agree with his takes on the wrestling world......AND he's funny as hell (especially when you get him going about Vince Russo). What parts of his "old school" vision of wrestling do you think just flat-out wouldn't work anymore?

Is there a chance WWE made sure Randy Orton was the first WWE WHC to erase the fact or make people forget Orton beat Benoit to become the youngest world champion?

Where do you rank Heyman and Lesnar amongst all-time manager/wrestler duos?

Here's a good one: Do you think we'll ever see a day when decisions are actually made based on what's good for the wrestling business instead of what's good for the ego of the person/people calling the shots?

So here's a question that popped into my head whilst perusing the ROH sticky: I see a number of posts with people complaining about Jim Cornette's time with ROH. The posts seem to be long on generalities ("Cornette turned it into Ring of Smoky Mountain" ect) but short on specifics such as what was Cornette doing that was "bad" and why it was "bad". So, lieu of the vagueness exhibited in those posts, what exactly IS their beef with Cornette's time with ROH?

Partially his pushing of Davey Richards as the unstoppable MMA guy (which made me quit watching) and just uninteresting product for the most part.

I'm afraid I wouldn't know Davey Richards from Adam lol.....Although from everything I've heard from non-IWC acquaintances ROH hasn't been particularly interesting regardless of who was running it. We don't get it in my area and I'm not inclined to subscribe to it so all I've really seen of ROH are a handful of You Tube vids from 2012 so I can't really judge for myself
