Who is WWE's "best" homegrown star?

I was looking at the list of WWE Champs to try and figure out who could be "the best "

Homegrown meaning they started their careers in WWE, not Indies, territories etc. Here's the list I came up with :

Angle
Cena
Orton
Lesnar
Batista

Am I missing anyone?

Well Cena got his start in the California indies, Orton did some stuff in Missouri before getting signed, and Batista did some very short term stuff in Pennsylvania. The other name you're forgetting is Dolph Ziggler, who is one of the only guys to be completely from the WWE system.

In a rare occasion, I actually happen to agree with Mark Madden's last article. Basically he states that Daniel Bryan should be holding up the World Title to close the show. He states he should be doing that after beating Randy Orton. My question is, how likely is that though? Sure, they can write their way into a DB/Orton title match at WM30 easily. But do you really think they'll put that match after any matches involving Lesnar, Taker, Batista and Cena? I know I find it unlikely.

It's not happening. Bryan hasn't proven he can draw on top yet and putting him as the main event of Wrestlemania is WAY too risky. ALso with those names you listed, it's not happening.

Exactly what I was thinking. My thing is though, I guarantee you it would be a great end to the PPV, at least in terms of viewers and crowd happiness. It's a shame DB didn't get the PPV numbers while he was on top.

If the match was indeed to happen, do you feel it would need to be the center-point of the show to be as effective, or do you think it could perhaps just be as good if other feuds were given more attention?

On that note, what do you think are the chances for the feud to take place if it isn't the center-point of the show? And if it was indeed the center-point of the show, how do you think the live crowds reaction (during the match) would be to it going on last after the CM Punk, John Cena, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Batista and Undertaker matches? As much as I think Daniel Bryan's insanely hot, I think a Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton match going on last at this Wrestlemania after all of the other attraction will get a just as bad if not worse crowd reaction than the last years Main Event. Kinda a curse to Main Event Wrestlemania these days, I believe..

Other feuds. It's just not a strong enough match to draw in a huge audience and with the debut of the WWE Network, numbers are going to be down anyway. It's too big of a gamble, especially when there are other big stars out there.

It would be a bad move, similar to what happened with Lesnar vs. Angle. It was a very good match, but it didn't have the feeling of a major showdown. I'd be fine with it being on the card though.

Do you think gimmicks from NXT like Tyler Breeze and Aiden English will have long-lasting appeal on the Main Roster, or do you think they'll get stale relatively quickly? The latter for me.

Who do you feel is the best hands down wrestler (ring work) from each major nation/area of wrestling such as Canada, US, Mexico, Japan and Europe? Currently and all time.
