That's what happened and Jarrett did nothing wrong at all. WWF screwed up and Jarrett took advantage of their carelessness. He had fulfilled all of his contractually obligated dates and would have been completely in his rights to sit home that night. Vince didn't cancel the match because it would have set a bad precedent. Also you don't want to send an unbeaten champion to another company, especially not when the Monday Night Wars weren't secure yet.

We've read the name Vince Russo all these years. What's the real story on him? I never heard his name when he worked for WWE; it was only when WCW hired him that he came to prominence.

Was he a decent writer who did a good job only while under the creative control of Vince McMahon? Was he the visionary he seemed to fancy himself in WCW? Was he strictly a blowhard who was given too much credit and too much power?

I've always wanted to know.....and have read so many good/bad opinions on this forum that I really have no idea.

Well he wrote for WWF Magazine for years under the name Vic Venom. He had a few quick appearances in some segments on Raw under that name but it was all pre-taped stuff. He was a name known if you were reading dirt sheets back then.

That tends to be the theory on him. He comes up with VERY creative ideas, but he needs someone to pull on his leash. The shows may not have made sense, but they were never boring. Above all else, he could find something for every single person on the roster. The words "creative has nothing for you" never applied to him.

Overall there's talent there, but he could never survive alone. The big knock against him is that anybody could have written Austin, Rock, Undertaker, Vince, Foley and Kane to the top, which is a fair point.

Opinion on Shark Boy? Should he have been given a stint with the X Division title at one point?

I'd have been fine with that.

You think they'll just write off Orton with a Raw rematch, and not a spot in the Chamber for the belt?

Also, wouldn't your scenario mean you lose your bet?

Yeah I do.

Indeed it would.

And we all thought the bet with Sam was done and dusted, eh?

Brocks chances against Cena? He's hardly to lose twice to Cena, or go into Mania on a loss? Seems wasteful.

That's a good point. It's wide open at this point and I love that.

If Lesnar beats Big Show and Cena, I wouldn't see too much harm in him holding the belt from EC to WM30 and dropping it to, say, Batista. But that would leave Cena without a rematch, unless it was a 3 way at WM30.

Has Edge held every achievement in WWE except the defunct ECW championship?

If you count him and Foley as Co-Hardcore Champions, yes.

I would. I'd lose.

Well the more I think about it the less it would make sense anyways. They're not going to have Lesnar lose to Cena twice. But they're not going to put Lesnar/Cena III on free TV. And a 3 way at WM30 doesn't seem right. Oh well. Like you said, it's all up in the air right now.

Oh, glorious bunkerous one, what is that reversal called that Cody Rhodes does in the corner? He presses himself away from the turnbuckle and flips the opponent over with his legs.

When Taker retires:

He goes out with a goodbye speech.

or

He hits the pose, lightning\thunder, lights go out. He is gone when they come back up but the urn is left in the middle of the ring.

I would prefer the 2nd just based on how fitting it would be. I dont really need a speech, but I can see people being mad if they didnt let him break character to say goodbye.

Find me a clip of it.

Urn, but it won't happen in modern WWE.

Going back to my Edge question who are the other guys that have achieved most of the accomplishments in WWE.

If Edge is #1 who are #2, #3, #4 and #5??

Which guys who made a name in ECW before going to other promotions do you see getting in the WWE Hall Of Fame (eventually). I see RVD, Dudley Boys, Tazz, Sabu and maybe Raven. Is there anyone else??

I have a few TNA questions:

Jarrett leaving is it real or part of a storyline

Recently with Joe dissing ROH,AJ supposely signing with ROH, and American Wolves jumping to TNA is it possible that we could be seeing a invasion angle of TNA vs ROH

No on Sabu and Raven, yes on the others. That's about it though.

Real.

I hope not.
