Back around 1999/2000 X-Pac got push after push after push and people started booing him no matter what he would do. Basically he was WAY overexposed and regularly fighting guys like Big Show and Undertaker. People did not care what he did and didn't want him on their TVs so they would boo him no matter what.

After seeing how few WrestleMania matches Metzler gave 5 star ratings to it got me interested to see how many Mania matches I would give a 5 star rating to. After I gave 14 matches a 5 star I decided to see how many you gave. After re-reading your Mania reviews I equated matches you gave either an A+ or A as a 5 star match and I omitted the Bret/Vince match based on your reason for giving it an A+. What I saw is that you gave out 12 A+'s and 9 A's.

Do you feel comfortable having both your A+ and A graded Mania matches considered 5 star?

Could you rank your A+ and A rated matches from best to worst match, or just the A+ ranked matches (If you feel those are the only ones worthy of being 5 star)? I think there would be many people interested in seeing such a ranking and not just myself.

Also, noticed you gave the Angle/Brock match a B+ and I'm curious as to how much higher that rating would have been had Brock hit the shooting star press and ended the match as it was intended to?

In an ideal world, how long does Bryan's chase last, when does he win the belt back and what's the ultimate pay-off?

A few months, the Rumble, and Bryan making HHH tap out.

Not really. A+ wouuld be five stars but A would be a bit below it.

Yeah probably but I'd be splitting hairs on most of them. I'd have to see the list though.

It would have gone up for sure. A or so.

Overall I tend to be a bit easier on ratings. I've seen people who say a match had one too many chinlocks so it wasn't perfect. That's being too critical.

Here are the matches you classified as A+ in your 2013 redo series:

can any buddy answered me ?

1:- Why would a wrestler choose to lose since the bigger stars make more money?

It's good for business. When bigger stars win they become more popular. When they're more popular more people pay to see the shows. When more people pay to see, everyone makes more money.

2:- Do the wrestlers get hurt?

Yes

3:- Is the blood real?

Yes

4:- Are all the wrestlers on steroids or other illegal drugs?

Not in WWE.

5:- Is wrestler X really related to wrestler Y?

By marriage.

6:- Why are the referees so dumb?

They aren't. They just chose to ignore things out of jealousy of the faces. Refs are wrestlers who didn't make it.

can atny buddy give me the answer of my question and from your answer i will be know how much you loves to watch the wrestling?

Meh.

I'm thinking about getting the SummerSlam 2003 DVD, but the cover makes me embarrassed to be a wrestling fan. Is this a me problem or a Sable problem?

Oh dear. Let's see, and note that this is off the top of my head and I've been sick for three days:

Bret vs. Austin
Shawn vs. Undertaker (XXV)
Rock vs. Austin
Shawn vs. Razor
Angle vs. Shawn
Macho vs. Steamboat
Benoit vs. HHH vs. Shawn
Hardys vs. E&C vs. Dudleys
Bret vs. Owen
Undertaker vs. HHH
Undertaker vs. Shawn (XXVI)
Cena vs. Rock[/quote]

This of course is splitting hairs.

And I included the following:

WrestleMania VII: Macho vs Warrior
WrestleMania VIII: Flair vs Macho
WrestleMania XII: Bret vs Shawn
WrestleMania XXII: Edge vs Mankind
WrestleMania XXIII: Shawn vs Cena
WrestleMania XXVII: HHH vs Undertaker

I've have little problem with any of these other than Bret vs. Shawn or HHH vs. Undertaker.

A quick note on why I feel these two belong.

Shawn v Bret

To me its a perfect story told in 4 parts plus overtime. For the 1st 15 minutes or so you have Shawn out wrestling Bret which was a great touch. It frustrated Bret and brought out his vicious side. The real highlight of this time is the timekeeper taking the superkick flush in the face and getting stretchered out. That time set the tone for the match and made it seem that anything during the match could be possible. Then the last three parts alternate from Bret in control, to Shawn (with some nice areal offense) then back to Bret to finish out the 60 minutes with some brutal offense and the sharpshooter to end regulation with Shawn not giving up was a great touch.

HHH v Undertaker

I know I'm in the minority liking HHH/Taker 2 more than 3, but for me it was a treat as it deviated from the normal Taker Mania matches of recent memory. HHH being in complete control and on the verge of not only beating, but retiring Taker only to have Taker slap on Hells Gate was so unexpected and came off great. For the first time Taker looked truly vulnerable. It also set up the build-up for the following Mania match which was the 2nd best Taker Mania build-up to Taker/Kane for Mania 14.

Shawn vs. Bret didn't need to be an hour. That's where they lose me. Make that a regular match and have it go 40 minutes or so and it's great.

I never felt like HHH had a chance to win. Not once. It felt like we were just killing time until the end of the match with Taker's coemback.

No WWE diva has ever looked more like a cheap ****e to me than Sable. And that covers a lot of ground.

Thank goodness Brock Lesnar doesn't internet.
