Could/Should WWE use Main Event as a show to defend the midcard titles? I think it would be beneficial for the midcarders to at least have some meaning on a show where they wouldn't be squashed and jobbed. Thoughts?

It's not the worst idea in the world but at the end of the day it needs to be on a bigger stage.

It was ok but nothing great. Shane looked good for a non wrestler, but it went on too long.

For serious gimmicks? Nothing I can think of in 10 seconds. For goofy ones:

The Hill William. A man from the hills of Tennessee who is obsessed with proving that he's every bit as sophisticated as people from up north. When he loses his cool, he turns into one of the Godwinns.

Jack Boring. Uses a wrestling style that people would think belongs in the 1940s: wristlocks, spinning toe holds, really basic stuff like that. The fans chant boring, he thinks they love him and keeps right on doing it like he's the most over guy on the roster.

That's very similar to Colt Cabana's Matt Classic character.

How much of that is the fact that him gimmick right now is that the McMahons don't think he's cut out to be a top guy? If you say a guy isn't fit to be something, how can you try and have him be that same thing?
