JBL got there basically because no one else could be. He was better than people remember. Nash yeah for the most part. Steriner was AWESOME in the early 90s and lived off potential for a long time.

Mankind - Mind Games
Diesel - Good Friends Better Enemies
Razor Ramon - Summerslam 1995
Hart - Survivor Series 1992
Undertaker - Bad Blood

WWE for the past 3 years or so have, in some small spurts, defied their PG setting, i.e Cena/Rock promos building upto Mania 27 and 28, R Truth smoking, you know small little shock moments.

This would make any rationale fan realize that this is the best scenario, when you restrict the boundaries, making a leap out of it will shock and awe. Kinda like how Bill Watts justified jumping from the top rope was a DQ (although we can debate that).

But the two hot periods in wrestling, we were either in a goody-two shoes world or on a stage of anarchy. So in a way we are in this realm of balance...is that a juxtaposition that should be challenged and invested upon by any other wrestling promotion on a national scale?

To be THE alternate?

Not really. You need the Golden Era style style to contrast the Attitude Era anarchy. To be the alternate you need to actually do something different, but you can't attack WWE when it's on high like this.
