Hey KB, how do you feel about Miz's wrestling ability as of late? I think he's starting to look a lot more versatile in the ring. While his match with Barrett started off campy, later on he did some pretty nice counter maneuvers. I definitely think he's improved since his original push with the US Championship.

Thoughts on Tyson VS Austin at Wrestlemania 14 instead of Austin VS Shawn? It's something I've been thinking about for a few days. Kind of like Cena VS Lesnar at Extreme Rules last year. You know, legit fighter VS pro wrestler, and Tyson's popularity was still white-hot at the time.
Your thoughts on Rock's promos against Cena this year? If I remember correctly, you were very critical of Rock's promos last year, because he couldn't be "serious", when the time called for it.

It would have been interesting but Austin needed to win the title on that stage from Michaels by pinning him with the Stunner.
It's been better, mainly because Rock is talking like he used to instead of getting things to trend.

Overall Rating: D. The Rumble SUCKED, the title match was decent, and the rest of the show was either bad or forgettable. That’s more or less 1999 in a nutshell. On top of that, this would all mean NOTHING by the next week, as we had Halftime Heat coming up to give Mankind the title back, as well as Vince forfeiting his title shot at Mania, resulting in Austin going anyway. Just awful overall.

Not buying it for a minute (not yet anyway) but...
We expect the WM crowd to be a smarky old crew, right? Cena is at risk of receiving a mildly unpopular reception. Lets say worst case scenario, he's getting abuse the likes of which we havent seen since the ECW fiasco. What happens if he then proceeds to cheat, or hit a low blow etc.?
I know alot of people are aching for a Cena heel turn (or so they would like you to believe) but I cant imagine anything but white hot heat (the beautiful negative mark-out) if anything like that happens? Thoughts?

This is more of a rant than a question, but you might get something out of this. How is The Rock not a heel in this whole story between him and Cena? Rock ditches WWE and Cena calls him out on it. Rock comes back and costs Cena the WWE Title at WrestleMania 27 for no reason other than to be a dick. They make the match for Mania 28, then Rock leaves after telling us (again) that he'll never leave again.
In the lead up to last year, Rock does nothing but make stupid jokes, making it seem as though he doesn't take Cena seriously. Rock wins the match, tells us he isn't leaving, and then leaves. He shows up again in a couple months to grant himself a title shot at the Royal Rumble, then, when he comes back, beats the one guy (other than Rock) that Cena hasn't beaten in a big match. All of that while Cena works through one of the least successful years of his career (mostly kayfabe, arguably in reality as well).
How can the same crowd (essentially) that did this:

Would I be wrong in saying this WrestleMania feels like a WrestleMania 17 situation where the challenger (Austin/Cena) is willing to anything it takes to defeat the champion (by sheer coincidence both times it's the Rock)? That's not to say Cena will turn heel or anything, but he's desperate to win this match.
Is it right to say Rock/Cena II is a bit like when Michaels turned on Hogan to be a heel for three weeks too?
Also, are WWE trying to market Cena as the bad guy (or at least that's how it seems to yours truly) for this maatch simply because the New York/New Jersey crowd are going to eat him alive?

Do you think ECW played a huge part in the direction WWE took in the late 90s.
I heard that towards the end of Goldberg's unbeaten streak, he used to get booed by the fans. I have searched for video, but without any success. Can you provide me with one or give me an instance when this happened?

Also, on Raw one DX came out chanting "Let them fight." Reffering to Austin and Tyson. And there was a back stage segment where Shawn Michaels said something like, everyone wants to see Austin VS Tyson, and I'll be the guest referee.
My questions.. Were WWE serious about Austin VS Tyson? What would happen to the WWE title, there wasn't a single soul Shawn could have feuded with.

It's the same reason Hogan could be evil back in 87 with the cheating he would do but still get cheered. When you're that over you can do whatever you want. Rock is a legend on top of that which makes it even worse.
Goldberg face, Lesnar heel.
