Ray wins The World Title at Lockdown after he and Brooke turn on Hogan(Lord help us all with Brooke) and joins Aces & Eights. Hogan wins The World Title at Slammiversary, then immediately vacates it and puts it on the line for the winner of The Bound For Glory Series.

Could it happen(By the way, the part where Hogan wins it more or less completes this parody of the Trips/Steph/Vince story)?

Not in a world where Undertaker exists.

Just my 2 cents, but I think Shawn's Mr. WrestleMania nickname has more to do with the top quality wrestling matches he has had at the event. When you run down Shawn's list you can say his matches against Razor, Bret, Jericho, Angle and the two Taker matches as either 5 star or really close to that. Then you can say his matches against Austin, HHH/Benoit, Cena and Flair are all just slightly below that. That is a list of 10 matches that are anywhere from 4 to 5 star matches.

With Taker I would say his two matches with Shawn, the second match with HHH and his match against Orton are at or near 5 star while his other two battles with HHH, 1st match against Kane and match against Flair are slightly below that level. That gives him 8 matches compared to Michaels 10 which is comprable, but I think the real distinction is that Michaels is given more credit for the quality of those Taker matches and thus has the moniker.

Can you think of any notable canadian pro wrestlers since the 90s that aren't within two degrees of separation from the Hart Family?

Are there any notable wrestlers at all that aren't within 3 or 4 these days?

Considering Bret and Owen wrestled at the highest levels of or were employed by the biggest wrestling companies and wrestling itself is a rather small pool where everyone has worked with almost everyone else (that is even before you talk about all those that Stu trained and who they themselves went on to train).

Even those in TNA who have never worked in WWE or WCW are contaminated by the presence of the likes of Sting and Bischoff or Bret's brief foray with WWA.

I think you'd have to be rather specific about your definition of a "degree of separation" such as "worked a match."

HBK was being called Mr Wrestlemania before the vast majority of his best matches. I want to say that it became prominent not long after or even before Wrestlemania XII.

If anything, the ladder match with Razor was what gave HBK that moniker and back then it was a ridiculous overreaction.

Yeah, and Shawn had a lot of bad matches there too. Also he lost a lot. Taker is 20-0. To the best of my knowledge, the next best undefeated record is something like 5-0. Also, Undertaker has won three world titles at Wrestlemania and beaten every single member of Evolution. That's a good career and he's done it at one show.

La Resistance could be considered notable. Eric Young would be also. Bobby Roode as well.

Have you ever considered reviewing some famous feuds of the past on your site?

What do you mean?

Do you think Ryback should turn heel?

No.

What do you mean?

Pick a feud from the past that's got a lot of attention (for example Austin vs. McMahon) and writing about it and giving it a grade like you do PPV's or episodes of RAW. Possibly break the feud down into categories such as rate the story of the feud, notable moments in the feud, notable matches in the feud, feud payoff, overall rating.

All in all give an overview of the feud and grade it. I really liked your Sting vs. Vader article, I'm basically talking about that but going into more depth and giving it a grade.

"A Ryback heel turn has been teased lately, with him losing several high profile matches and walking out on his team at Elimination Chamber. If WWE does go through with the heel turn, it would lead to a John Cena vs. Ryback program after WrestleMania. While Cena could certainly benefit from a fresh heel monster to play off of, Ryback is somewhat limited in the ring and losing the crowd support would hurt his character a lot."

I hope they don't do this.

Eh those are hard to write unless I can get in the mood for it. Turning it into a series would be really annoying. I can't write unless I get an inspiration for it and Sting vs. Vader is one of my favorite feuds ever.

Why does Wes Brisco have a PPV match against Kurt Angle?

We live in a random and chaotic universe.

It's one of TNA's annoying problems: they feel they MUST stick to the plan until the end, no matter how nonsensical or flat out dumb it is. The fact that the reason Brisco joined Aces and 8's (his family heritage is too good to be a low level rookie) probably doesn't mean much to about half the audience is perfectly acceptable too.

The reason he was canned from FCW (being shit and injury prone) wasn't enough for Aces and Eights to tell him to fuck off?

The Brisco name of course, because EVERYONE knows who the Briscos are today. Oh and he used to work for WWE so clearly he's worth signing.
