One time Mr. Fuji and someone (it might been Jim Cornette but I'm not sure. He might have been who I heard the story from) were going to go to another town. Cornette (we'll say it was him as I can't exactly remember) was new in the area and Fuji didn't want to drive. So Fuji is going to give Cornette directions and they drive around for 4 hours (Cornette's car and gas money) and go about 200 miles in a big circle before winding up right where they started. Fuji says let me drive and they're there in 15 minutes.

There's a LOT of lucha libre to be found across the border, especially on television. Is the language barrier really that big of a deterrent keeping lucha libre from finding a fanbase outside of bilinguals in the States and elsewhere?

watching One night stand 2006 at the moment, and im at the part where JBL drops a promo on these ECW fools and to be quiet honest, he's been dropping some knowledge on these guys. Thoughts on his promo?

That he spoke the truth. ECW flat out was not as great as its fans want to believe it is.

HIAC vs. Shawn or Mania 25 vs. Shawn. It's a coin flip.

It's amazing but there are better ones out there.

He's excellent in the ring but some of the criticisms of him are true.

I was trying to think of a way to word this just right, but oh well: was Hogan really a good or great heel in WCW, or was everybody just in shock/awe of the initial turn?

He was indeed a great heel. His matches SUCKED, but his heel work was great. As I've been trying to explain about Punk, Hogan's heel run worked so well because of all the lies he told. When he talked about how he wasn't scared of anyone and said he beat up everyone he fought that's going to cause people to hate him and pay to see him get what's coming to him. With Punk he talks sense a lot of the time (like saying WWE kept moving the goalpost with Cena and how he never gets to main event stuff while being champion) and there's less of a reason to boo him. It's not that complicated.
