That's a solid possibility but the other major option is Rock vs. Cena II with no title and Punk vs. Taker streak vs. streak.

Would Taker win the Rumble then? Or do you have someone else win it - Orton for the shot at Dolph? - and have Punk claim that no one can beat him for the title only for the lights to go out and the gong to sound?

Personally, I think I would like the shock value of Punk surviving the Rock. Not entirely sure how he does it though. Another Shield interference - Rock's title shot is far more of an injustice than a lot of their other attacks - or perhaps Cena costing the Rock (but how does that happen without Cena becoming the heel until Wrestlemania)?

I'd have Rock lose by countout or DQ. It's simple and effective and could work fine. Maybe Lesnar if they want to go that way.

Personally, if Lesnar is going to be used to cost the Rock the WWE title, Punk should win by pinfall.

I do like that there are plenty of what I would consider good options for Wrestlemania. It is because of these options that I think Punk retaining at the Rumble is far more likely than a lot of people think - still would not bet on it though.

Lesnar alone is perhaps the biggest wildcard of them all with the most options - HHH, Rock, Cena or the latest victim of the Streak. (Lesnar/Rock would probably be the biggest mainstream attraction of the lot.)

Throw in Rock/Cena/Punk, potential Streak vs Streak, the WHC match with Sheamus/Orton/Dolph, Ryback Shell-Shocking Big Show and Wrestlemania XXVIII could be the most stacked card in a long time/ever.

It would serve a lot of good if they didn't do it right after the Rumble. Also, stop having it at a set time of the year. Do like they did with the first Chamber and set up a lot of challengers for one match. The way they do it now, it's there for the sake of it being February. Having it right after the Rumble is stupid.

It helped a lot. I wrote a blurb about that on my site today. Last night he was being insane and over the top, which is what delusional heels are supposed to do. That's the promo he's been needing to cut for a long time now.
