Glad to see your opinion on Barrett hasn't changed from when he asked that question ten months ago.

Do you think the midcard is currently at its weakest in the past decade?

No. It's stronger than it's been in awhile.

What more could have been done with Nexus? Or done differently?

If they had gone with the original idea (Bryan is the killing machine that Barrett sends out to destroy people, Barrett wins the title and takes all the credit, Bryan snaps and mauls Barrett in a massive face turn), then yeah it would have been better.

If I remember right, I read it on Scott Keith's Blog. He's a personal friend of Ed Koskey, who until last week was a writer for Raw.

Is Team Hell No going to help the tag division long term?

Obviously, when they drop the titles it's going to be a big deal because of all the time invested in Kane/D-Bry but, how do you keep the momentum going?

Much better for WWE than the Stones. I'm not entirely sure what's in it for the Stones but it's a good name association for WWE.

Am I wrong in having liked Jeff Hardy's heel run in TNA from 2010 to 2011? And also am I fine for liking TNA the way it is at the moment, I'm still a WWE guy through and through though?

How do the stones benefit? Money. Same goes for Dainty, Virgin and Endemol. For the three companies, this is a trial run for doing this more often. Of course, if it goes badly, fans won't want to buy future concerts via PPV. Therefore they want it to go well. WWE wrote the book and made the DVD about making millions of dollars producing live PPV shows. If I were in their spot, I'd use WWE's production skills. They know their shit.

On the subject of WWE PPVs. Wrestlemania made a $104.2 million impact on the economy of Miami. Your thoughts?

Yes.
No.

A lot of other companies know how to market things too. The Stones didn't get where they are today by not knowing how to do business. When WWE gets outside of wrestling, their record is ok at best.

Mania always does well for a town, but that's good even for Wrestlemania.

This isn't about marketing. The Rolling Stones will sell themselves. WWE's not being brought aboard to market anything (except themselves). They're contracted because nobody has more experience in producing live events on PPV than WWE. Virgin, Endemon and Dainty want this show to run perfectly. Therefore they're getting the most experienced guys in the business involved to ensure that it does.

When WWE gets outside of wrestling, their record is ok at best.

Except that unlike the XFL and WBF, this isn't a departure from what WWE does. In fact, getting a concert like this to run smoothly would be far easier than making sure the Royal Rumble does. There are fewer areas that need to be filmed (the stage and that's pretty much it), fewer people to coordinate, less chance of the show having to be rewritten because someone got injured thirty seconds into a match scheduled for 15 minutes.

This concert is a big, untested risky endeavour for the music industry. For WWE, it's a Sunday.

UFC does better PPV buyrates than WWE. Why not go to them?

I'm really not sure what your point is to all this.

You're right, UFC gets better buyrates. But there's more to running a live event well than just the buyrate. Case in point, last time I checked this kind of setup:

Is closer to WWE than UFC.

The latest season or whatever of NXT started with that tournament to crown a NXT champion, right? Would you recommend watching it from that point? I've been interested in checking it out lately.

Do you think there is any chance Lesnar will interfere in Hell in a Cell?

If he doesn't, they would have to come up with something big, or there's going to be a new champion.

You might want to check out the rest of the stuff before it so you can know who each person is. There hasn't been a truly bad show yet.

Follow up to the Lesnar question: If he does interfere do you think they could stretch the angle into a Ryback vs. Lesnar match at mania given Ryback's new found popularity or does Lesnar have to work with a bigger name?

I don't think Lesnar will interfere.

But oh man, Lesnar interfering to F5 Ryback, join Punk & Heyman, and the aftermath... would be fucking great.

Chances of a double knowckout ending to Show vs Sheamus with show landing on top for the pin, followed by Ziggler cashing in to give Big Show a new shortest title reign??
