KB Answers Wrestling Questions

I find amusing the fact that I had to remember shit that happened more than 20 years ago, and for that I get a thread closed. Keep going with tha good work.

1. That isn't a question.

2. You were still wrong.

3. I remember stuff from nearly 30 years ago and don't say stupid things about them. Your point?

1. Talking about pointless threads
2. That doesn't mean that the thread should be closed.
3. My point? Someone needs to get out of the house a well lot more, oh and start to think about the word "humble". It's good for you in the future.

What do you think Ziggler is going to do at HIAC?

Nothing springs to mind. My first instinct is a rematch with Orton but after three matches already and six weeks to the PPV, I don't see that happening. He might not have a match but could be hyping up the idea of cashing in.

I don't need to be humble. Not when I'm flat out smarter than you are. As for getting out of this house, these forums and answering questions and learning as much as I have about wrestling has put money in my pocket and caused me to meet my girlfriend. What has your time here brought you?

Hart Foundation
LOD
Demolition
Midnight Express
Edge and Christian

Lance Storm and Jerry Lynn

Canadian Stampede and Final Four.

The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards a triple threat with Rock vs. Cena vs. Punk. HHH vs. Lesnar II would make me roll my eyes. If that doesn't happen, Punk or Taker would likely get Sheamus.

Speaking of Punk, how long will he and Heyman stay together, and what do you thinki of the idea of having Survivor Series be main evented by Team Cena vs. Team Punk?

What do you think of the new blog Jim Ross posted?

Here are some highlights.

Jerry Lawler wrestling again: "I do know that if King can wrestle that he will. Jerry is a wrestler first and an announcer second as being a wrestler is what he's done for 40+ years and I seriously doubt that he's ready to hang up his boots. Every indy promoter will be frothing at the mouth to book King even more now than before. I'd suggest to all that slow, deliberate steps be taken.

Working with JBL and Michael Cole on RAW: "I know is that it took two of us to replace @Jerry Lawler on RAW Monday. Working with @JCLayfield, who's a funny SOB, and @MichaelCole who has become the voice of WWE and had his most defining moment in Montreal with the face of death looking him right in the eyes, was a blast for me."

Who will fill in for Lawler this Monday: "I'm not sure who will sit in for King next week with Michael Cole. It's a great opportunity for WWE to utilize some names from the past and/or to place some prospective new talent at the announce table.

"Whoever assists Cole will be in good hands as no one preps as thoroughly as does Michael and hopefully whoever is tabbed will follow Cole's lead and be thoroughly prepared to work a long, live three hour entertainment program. I'd suggest that who is selected greatly reduce their liquid in take by mid afternoon as sitting in a confined spot for three hours can be, well, anxious. :)"

And here are my thoughts.

I like how this incident has brought out the best of WWE's announcers. All the dramatic nonsense between Michael Cole, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler had been done to death. I want commentators who put over the talent and respect each other and themselves. Now that's what we're finally seeing in the wake of this tragedy.

Jim Ross showed terrific insight when he said, "[Michael Cole] ... had his most defining moment in Montreal with the face of death looking him right in the eyes."

Cole demonstrated the utmost professionalism in handling that situation, just as he did the following week on RAW. Not to mention how emotionally traumatic it must have been for him, Lawler likely being a close colleague to Cole.

No matter how annoying he has been as a character and regardless of his underwhelming technical knowledge of professional wrestling, he is still an educated sportscaster with a respect for our business and the legends of his field.

Thank you Michael Cole for your conduct and dedication, thank you Jim Ross for your wisdom, and most of all, please get well, Jerry.

What are your thoughts, KB?

Hey KB, great work with your reviews as usual, just wondering if you have an early prediction for who will win the Royal Rumble ?
And do you think that there is any chance that the rock loses his championship match and gets put in the rumble?

Cole did well and JBL was funny. Lawler likely shouldn't be wrestling ever again but he will anyway.

Not in WWE, he won't. He's not going to pass another medical. Either he takes the drugs he'll be put on and get told "no, you're not wrestling while you're taking those drugs. It's too much of a liability." or he doesn't take the drugs and WWE/the WWE doctor tell him "you're still not wrestling. Take those drugs. They'll make it less likely that you'll have another heart attack."

My guess would be Cena so he can get his rematch with Rock.

I can't imagine that happening, but stranger things have happened.

If that's the case, I'd be very happy.
