Should it have been Cena vs Orton vs Batista at Mania 24?

Can you think of any world champion that started off his reign as a heel but some how turned into a face before losing it?

I'd have preferred a singles match but if you have to do the triple, HHH made more sense than Big Dave.

Punk when he beat Cena at MITB.

I doubt that. He went from "I don't care about any of you and you're the reason this happened" to the show. That's a bit of a stretch.

As for another that fits the answer, Austin in 01. He might have done it twice that year.

It has more to do with what else he said and the fact that Cena was getting Cena sucks chants from anybody he was facing.

You're right about Austin in 01 though, boy I hated those angles.

Cena could fight Fidel Castro in Washington DC on the 4th of July and at least 6% of the audience would chant Cena Sucks.

If you had to shoot fight any wrestler for an orange Julius, who would it be and why?

Verne Gagne.

But seriously, even if John Cena doesn't turn heel...at least give him some new entrance music of something...

Also for all the "Vince hates WCW/indy talent" talk..it seems like there's a ton of evidence to the contrary...

Mania 20: Benoit and Guerrero hold the 2 world titles and end Mania celebrating together, Benoit made HHH tap out

2002-05: the WCW title was the featured title on the flagship show

The record for IC titles belongs to Chris Jericho, a non-WWE "creation"

Going into this year's Mania: CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were the world champs

CM Punk, a complete indy creation, is on his way to being the longest reigning champion in a long, long time...

CM Punk has 2-3 'clean' wins over John Cena

CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy closed Night of Champions 2009 in Philly, not HHH vs Cena vs Orton in a triple threat

Basically, my question comes down to, is the "Vince hates non-WWE" myth really just "Vince loves money" and makes decisions based on potential profits?

Also: Should Booker T have held more world titles in WWE?

Eh it's his signature song. That means a lot in WWE.

It took over four years to go from WCW Champion to WWE Champion. On top of that he was held back for well over a year until they finally pulled the trigger on Benoit.

2002-05: the WCW title was the featured title on the flagship show

No, it wasn't.

The record for IC titles belongs to Chris Jericho, a non-WWE "creation"

Not really. Jericho did next to nothing in WCW and then was a big star in WWE. He was a WWE creation, or at least his successful part was.

Going into this year's Mania: CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were the world champs

And the third and fourth biggest matches on the card at best.

CM Punk, a complete indy creation, is on his way to being the longest reigning champion in a long, long time...

Less than five years. Not a long, long time.

CM Punk has 2-3 'clean' wins over John Cena

So do a lot of people. What's your point?

CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy closed Night of Champions 2009 in Philly, not HHH vs Cena vs Orton in a triple threat

A B PPV. When they do this at Mania, let me know.

Nah I think there's something to the WCW theory. Just not with the areas you listed. A lot of it is due to profits and such though.

Also: Should Booker T have held more world titles in WWE?

Nah. He did fine on his own.

Thoughts on the idea that Antonio Cesaro could change the United States Championship to the European Championship to further enhance his "I'm European, Deal With It" persona?

What are your thoughts on TNA possibly doing away with the TNA TV belt?

Do you think it would be a good or bad idea?

It's pretty stupid if we're just supposed to forget about it.

I doubt it'll happen due to Mattel but it would be fine if they did.

Thoughts on Hernandez?

Should he be doing more in TNA than being in random teams?

(Ive always liked the guy for some reason)

Preface: I'm not a fan of fantasy booking and I think I absolutely suck at it.

Most of the card is fine I think. Cena vs. Big Show opening the card was a perfect choice as the FU to Show blew the roof off the place.

Drop Cade/Jindrak and La Resistance from the first tag title match. Two four way tag titles matches are WAY too many. Either that or drop that match and have Van Dam and Booker do something else. We can save those two for later.

Christian vs. Jericho is fine. I'm a big fan of that storyline.

Evolution vs. Rock/Foley was a great match but I might have moved it down a match or two on the card. Put the Cruiserweight match here to give the fans a chance to get their popcorn ready.

Drop the Divas stuff. No one cares and it wastes time.

Goldberg vs. Lesnar......egads I'm not sure on this one. On paper this feels like a huge match and one that belongs at Wrestlemania. They were handcuffed here so I don't think I would have changed that.

Drop the second tag title match. It didn't need to exist and none of those guys needed to be on there at all.

Women's Title is fine here for a breather.

I think the last three matches are fine other than the main event. Shawn should not have been in that match, period. The match was a masterpiece, but HHH vs. Benoit would have been perfect for a main event. As for what to do with Shawn, maybe put him vs. Booker and Van Dam in a triple threat earlier in the card for the title shot at Backlash. HHH can say it's his rematch time and you can do the triple threat there.

So in short, trim off the tag matches and the Playboy match. Put Shawn, Booker and RVD in a triple threat for the title shot at the next show. You can cut the Cruiserweight Title match for the sake of time if need be as well.

I just thought it was a mess in many ways. Shawn definitely didn't need to be in the match. Booker and JBL would be big heels in a month, so why not turn them before Mania to take on their former partners in matches people might care about? Who the hell is Mark Jindrak? Love it as I may, Eddie vs Angle came out of nowhere. Why the fuck did Benoit go to Raw again? Why all those cruiserweights when a one-on-one would be better and cheaper? The booking around this time just fries my wiring. Some matches are fine. But others I don't get.
