Should HHH have an actual "retirement" match OR what it be better, given his future as an on-screen authority figure in the style of a future "Mr McMahon" type that he never truly retire allowing him to insert himself into matches as need by future storylines?

He was good at what he did and filled in a good spot, but he was getting up there in years. He's better suited behind the scenes.

A bunch of tag team questions incoming; feel free to answer as many or as few as you like.

-What do you think about Ascension in NXT? Are they Raw-ready, and if not what do they need to get there, in your opinion?

-Do you have any thoughts on the apparent re-interest in the tag team division on Raw and Smackdown?

-Do you think given Tyler Reks release and Zack Ryder's ever-fading importance in the WWE, it might be wise to re-unite Ryder & Hawkins to bring some fan-reaction to the tag division?

-None of them are terribly "over", but if you had to place the division on the shoulders of either The Usos, PTP, Epico & Primo, or Gabriel/Kidd who do you think could carry "the ball" going forward?

Love the entrance, but they need new individual names and a better finisher. Make Total Elimination the finisher.

That this is roughly the third time in five years they're "re-starting" the division. When it happens and sticks, I'll believe it.

No need to do it. It would be a BIG step backwards for Ryder.

Give them a name instead of International Airstrike (just Airstrike would be fine) and some opponents that can keep up with them and it would be them.

Should WWE cancel SmackDown and Superstars, change most PPV's to the two hour In Your House style, occasionally screen "Clash of the Champions" style shows/specials and cut talent down to get rid of some of the dead weight (I.E. Kelly Kelly, Evan Bourne, Ezekiel Jackson etc...)? Seems like as lot to ask, but for some reason, I've always liked this solution.

No. Here's what I would do:

1. Drop Raw back to two hours. For the love of goodness when they add the new hour long show this fall, there will be more hours of free TV in a month than was aired on WWF PPV in the entirety of the 1980s.

2. Either have everyone on both shows or go back to the brand split. With Smackdown guys on Raw, there's no real need to watch Smackdown.

3. There's no need for Clashes when you have five prime time hours every week.

4. Use more of your talent. They have what, fifty men on the roster? Throw some of them out there. Before Bryan, the last new person in the main event was who? Del Rio? That's two new people in there in roughly two years. You can add more than that. Elevate some people for a change.

5. Yes, there definitely should be some In Your House style shows. Over the Limit, Vengeance, No Way Out, even Night of Champions. All of those could be shortened down and sold for like $30. Put something like Punk vs. Kofi as the main event and put Kofi on an insane tear going up to it.

Would you mark if Ziggler "put out" Orton, who needs to leave television again to start filming the "Twelve Rounds" sequel? I would. It'd make him look sooooo legit. In general, his build since winning Money in the Bank has been a bajillion-times better than Bryan's. Though at least the payoff was pretty satisfactory, since Bryan got a solid, four-month reign, even if he didn't have many spectacular title defenses. It's ironic his best title matches occurred after the 18 seconds fiasco, though not wholly unexpected since he didn't have any good opponents for one-on-one matches until after he dropped the title at WrestleMania. Then he went pretty much uphill as far as match quality, though now they're seemingly buying time with this Kane/AJ/Bryan storyline. Fuck, thinking of this makes it even more annoying all the face veterans are leaving, even if only temporarily. Can't he and Mysterio work a feud? That'd be sweet. Bryan could get mad at him for making beef burritos. Is that racist? Sowwy.

Main reason I said that is for one, I'm not a fan of him constantly teasing to cash it in every week. He loses a lot for someone who they're trying to build up. I don't see why he can't feud with guys like Christian and Mysterio and get some wins there. I hearken back to Orton in 2004. They knew how to build him up and it payed off albeit only for a month but they did it right with him. I'm sure Christian and Rey can eat the losses and not lose credibility.

02 as they did it twice. In 01 he was ready for the world title but they wouldn't pull the trigger. Austin chasing Jericho could have carried them over the summer. In 02 it was awful as he was a bishop in a HHH vs. Stephanie feud.

I watched that Jericho/Benoit vs. Two Man Power Trip tag match a couple of days ago and wondered why they couldn't have just gone with them to try to take down Austin and HHH after WM instead of Kane and Undertaker.

I clown Jericho for his feud with HHH in 2002 but he did deserve better. I wouldn't have had Hogan or Undertaker win the title that year and I don't think HHH should have either as he was terrible as a babyface that year. Have Jericho go over HHH at WM, Hogan at Backlash, and maybe Austin at Judgment Day before losing to Rock at KOTR. Guys like Jericho and Angle could have been great and helped ease the load off of HHH.

They needed to give Austin and HHH a credible victory as a tag team. Kane and Undertaker were the right choice for that.

There was no way Jericho was ever walking out of Toronto with the title, which is probably the right move given how bad they messed him up.

Why would they have Orton cleanly beat Ziggler tonight even though he's leaving and not put at least some build on the WHC match?

What does Ziggler do at NOC?

Should HHH vs Jericho have been the title match at Mania 18?

Should Hogan have gotten his "nostalgia" title run in 02?

Yes.

Yes but he should have lost it to someone young.

Because WWE is stupid.

Probably have a non-title match.
