I think Christian did in his first match but he had been on TV before.

John Cena looks like a regular person with a shirt on. Also if I saw Nash and didn't know he was a wrestler, I'd think he was a basketball player, not a fighter/tough guy.

As for Benoit and Eddie killing the business, no. They didn't help it as they didn't draw in anyone new as champions, but they didn't kill it. One thing that does amuse me though: there's an old story about a conversation between Nash and Gerald Brisco from Nash's last days in the WWF when he was being courted by WCW.

Nash: "Why am I the lowest paid WWF Champion ever?"

Brisco: "Because no one ever drew as bad as you did."

It's not all about size.

I'd be fine with it, but I'd be surprised if they did it.
