Tony Atlas was pretty awesome back in the early 80s. He and/or Rocky Johnson could have gotten a shot at Sheik if they hadn't brought Hogan back.

Oh and Bad News Brown. That guy was 10 years ahead of his time.

Picture this:

A guy from Harlem, bald head, deep voice, Eric Young beard, talks about how the white people hold down him and his brothers, does the Black Power salute, and is the most successful American heavyweight judoka ever. Think he and Austin could have a good feud?

If you look back in the history of the WWE, and really wrestling in general there have never really been many African American stars. Almost everyone of them that got over got a run with a title at some point though.

Bad News Brown wasn't really a great wrestler or much interested in wresling from what I've heard. The similarity with Austin in terms of the gimmick is there though.

In his YouShoot Tony Atlas said that when he was watching Hogan beat the Iron Sheik on the monitor back stage Vince walked up to him and said "If it weren't for [Atlas' drug use], that'd be you out there." Imagine how wrestling would be different if that was how it happened.

That sounds... pretty sweet actually.

I forgot to mention that he would regularly walk out on his heel partners and beat them up on occasion. He and Savage had a great street fight with tables being used in the 80s.

You've never seen his Stampede stuff have you?

If it happened that is.

Some sites are reporting Anti Cena signs were confiscated last night what i don't get is they are selling "Cena sucks" T-shirts and in the Cena/Kane PPV promo it focuses on Anti Cena signs.

Do you have any idea why they would do that it just seems really weird?
