How much of the Royal Rumble is planned. The order of entrances and the winner is obviously planned, but are the eliminations and spots planned?

I've heard varying answers on that.

Everything is VERY planned and big spots are planned huge. The idea though is the referees on the floor give information to the guys in the ring, saying get out now etc.

Johnny Ace, Vickie Guerrero, Michael Cole. You have the power to have one of these people fired and never seen or heard from on WWE (or any form of) TV ever again. Who would you choose?

And as for who eliminates whom, is it planned for only the major stars(Cena, Orton) or even for minor guys(Slater, Riley etc.)?

Ace. I get what they're going for with him, and it doesn't work for me at all. Cole and Vickie would be great to have in someone's corner and it's working for Dolph....kind of.

This is actually one of the questions I wanted to ask Disco and Konnan when they were here. I've asked a lot of people that know a lot more than I do and the information I've gotten is that most of the time they go out whenever they can. When guys like Cena or Orton throw out a bunch at once, they just throw out whoever is there, probably with instructions before they come out. Granted that would be in the RUmble only, but there's probably a way of letting them know.

I remember reading on here (I want to say that Kevin Kelly wrote it) that there's a list in the Gorrilla position which has the entry and exit orders on it for the Rumble. I assume that it's not written in stone (people are bound to forget the exact orders in which the jobbers exit the ring and people like Alex Riley will screw up). He then waxed philosophical about how challenging the Rumble is to run for the backstage guys. I expect he also shilled something, but that's idle speculation.

Makes as much sense as anything else I've heard.

Not really a wrestling related question, but I was just wondering if I could ask for permission to recommend some of your reviews to Lance Storm over Twitter. He's really into responding to his fans and I figured someone like him would dig your reviews. Just wanted to make sure it was ok with you first.

Also, just to keep this on topic, do you think Lance Storm was better as a tag wrestler or a singles wrestler?

By all means. Please tell me what he says about them. Just make sure I get credited for them. I'm a big fan of his site.

I liked his singles work better and I think his mic skills were underrated so I'll go with singles.

ahh yes, discussion about my 2nd favorite wrestler of all time (behind Zack Ryder), Lance Storm.

When Storm was the triple crown champ (Canadian Heavyweight, 100 kilos and under, and Saskatchewan Hardcore International Title), should they have put the Worlds Title on him too? If I recall correctly, he won the 3 championships in the span of 3 or 4 weeks then had a Worlds Championship match vs. Booker T immediately after, and he was really over.

No.

It would have been WAY too much too fast. At the end of the day, this was a quick story and I think it played out perfectly. Storm was very talented and he came out with a great story and the US Title so I think he did ok. The world title was too much though.

How much is a wrestler allowed to deviate from his scripted promo? Is he lauded for his input, or does it depend on his place?

Probably depends on his place and how much. I mean, if Cena does something they'll probably let it slide. If say an Uso did it, the team would be banished even more than they already are. In theory at least, as you never know what might happen.

Will Bryan keep his title till Mania? Do you want him to turn into someone who now decimates opponents with deadly submissions so his reign isn't weak-looking?

With the Chamber coming up....I'd doubt it. And no. I'd rather have seen him built up and THEN win the title, like it used to be done.

Okay, WWE has been REALLY confusing lately...

What the hell is going on with Cena? For the first time, are they teasing the heel turn?

Is it me or RAW lacks a real HEEL main eventer? Who could it be?

Where is it going this "feud" between CM Punk and Johnny Ace?

Is it real KB? Punk is champion, Bryan is champion, Ryder is champion, Rhodes is champion, Ziggler and Barrett are becoming top players. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THE WWE?!

As a promoter, what was Verne Gagne's biggest flaw?

Refusal to let go of the past.

I think so but I think ti's just that: a tease.

Nowhere, unless he gets a big heel to work forhim.

Yeah pretty much. It's really weak in the heel area at the moment.

Was there any purpose of reason for Kane's one day WWF title reign in 1998? Did they have something in mind with making Kane a long term champion later on or did it just happen for the sake of a swerve?

7 and the one right before Unforgiven 01 where he was talking to Austin and ripped off the neckbrace and shouted that Austin was scared because he knew that Angle was the only person that could beat him. It sent a chill up my spine.

Do you think Dolph Ziggler is ready for a Rumble victory? Could you possibly explain to me how one would consider him over in anyway without Vickie?
