Maybe. It would have been close though. He would have had to be pushed to the main event beforehand though.

Summerslam. No real need to have it go past that or do the ending they did.

He'll probably run-in and I'm not entirely sure why. This whole thing has been a big mess and I don't think they know where it's going anymore.

My first instinct would say HHH but I'm holding out hope that it's Punk as he needs the win over someone like HHH to further validate himself.

The thing is how do they get punk winning and still HHH as COO or HHH winning and not burying cm punk?

Who do you think sent Nash (I'm going with Vinnie Mac as possibly a way to get his company back)?

Also if Vince did send Nash do you see this possibly wrapping up in a Vince vs. HHH match for control of the company (maybe at WM28).

I only ask this because I find it difficult to believe Mr. McMahon would just walk away without a fight even if the board is against him (it is the company he built afterall).

I think Vince would have someone doing the fighting for him. he's had better success that way. I think he'll have something to do with this, but with his wife having a Senate run soon it's hard to say. He'll be around. Vince is always around.

Wrestlemania is usually held around the first week of April. Any particular reason why WM 20 took place in the middle of March? Just seemed odd to me.

Six months ago we were in the era of the Chick Magnet that shouted HOO RAH as WWE Champion and had just come off him defending against Jerry Lawler at a PPV where there was a real argument for Lawler winning the title. In short, nothing should ever be called impossible in wrestling, which is what I'd say to those two being top heels.
