This is Where the Power Lies is good. Uh...Flair/Shawn's goodbye speeches but they're not really promos.

Hogan going over at SummerSlam 2005 was the right move. How strongly do you agree with me?

I could go with that. It's a coin flip for me as Shawn was on the downside of his career and was really just around to be a veteran and put people over at that point. Hogan was a special attraction so I was fine with him winning. Now against Orton a year later, different story. Hogan over Shawn though I didn't have a big problem with.

Orton was such a massive fuck-up at that point that he deserved what he got.

To an extent yeah but at the same time it's still a bit of a stretch that a former world champion can't beat a guy in his 50s that hasn't wrestled in a year.

Yeah, but at that point he'd been world champion once. For a month. That's Jack Swagger levels of bush league.

Still though, he's a young guy and Hogan is old and in pieces. What would a win for Orton have done for his career? Not a ton but he lost to an old man. How does that help anyone but Hogan?

Look where Orton is now. Look how hot Rated RKO was a few months after that. The loss certainly did him no harm.

Also, I don't think beating Randy Orton helped Hulk Hogan.
