WWE has been going with bigger venues over the past couple of years. They haven't been in arena since Mania 22. I asked because I've always wanted to see Mania return to the Garden. The nostalgia of WWE being in the Garden never gets old for me.

The Garden is more or less chissled into stone for Mania 30.

2 questions, both of which are a bit off the page (especially the first one).

1. Do you think that New York Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan would make an interesting wrestling personality (manager/authority figure/whatever.

2. Is there a reason WWE doesn't run more outdoor shows in baseball or football stadiums? Wrestling used to be held in outdoor stadiums (Shea Stadium, Comiskey Park, Texas Stadium which the field is outdoors). I would love to see WWE go back to an outdoor NY/NJ stadium for a major event (SummerSlam at New Meadowlands in Jersey or SOLDIER FIELD? SummerSlam at YANKEE STADIUM?).

Oh, and what about Mania Fifty (granted it's FAAAAR down the line). That's a HUGE milestone, warranting an 80K+ arena.

They wouldn't sell those places out and would be embarassed by them so they wouldn't do it. Also they're likely more expensive to rent, plus people don't like sitting outside for fear of things like rain.

KB, should WWE make Shawn Michaels out to be THE legend in pro wrestling history? I ask this because it seems to be happening already.

But his personality to me is what makes me think he'd be a great manager-type. I'm not even thinking about the jokes and stuff. Besides, there is a history of successful fat managers (Paul Bearer).

But they'd sell out the Georgia Dome, University of Phoenix Stadium, Reliant Stadium, and Ford Field? Those buildings are are BIGGER then Yankee Stadium.

Besides, as I said, wrestling has been held in northern outdoor baseball facilities back in the 70's and 80's. Shea Stadium in Queens had 3 WW(W)F events, and Comiskey Park in Chicago held a bunch of AWA shows.

Yankee Stadium would work, they have been known to put a ring in the new building (they had a Boxing event DURING the season in June 2010). Why couldn't they put Summerslam there? The rain isn't a huge deal, being that it's August and all.

Joey Styles announced that the Royal Rumble will have 40 Superstars, instead of 30. Thoughts?
