Contrasting, but they need to be able to work well together. For instance, AJ vs. Abyss in 05 was great because Abyss was an unstoppable monster and AJ was able to fly all over the place and the contrast worked. Similar styles can work but you have to be really good to pull it off, like Batista vs. Taker.

KB...do you think that the antics of Jeff and Matt Hardy are starting to wear out their welcome even with their most die hard fans? Bringing up past relationships from many years ago when they say they have long mended relationships, creating 'alter egos' MATTHEWHARDYBRAND, or Jeff Hardy tagging himself the Anti-Christ and suddenly trashing people he's never had a problem with until Matt was released from WWE?

I think the Hardys think they're WAY more valuable to wrestling than they really are. Jeff was a big deal for a few years and Matt has about the same list of singles accomplishments as D-Lo Brown. Neither has ever been the face of WWE or TNA, so I don't know why they think they're so awesome. Matt comes off like a whiner and I think with Jeff the numbers TNA is pulling with him as champion sums up the issues he has.

Was AJ better last year than he was in 2005?

Difficult to say as he was portraying different characters each time. From a quality perspective, I think 05 was more exciting but as for all around I'd go with last year.

I can see that.

Follow up since I'm watching Abyss vs. AJ at Lockdown again. How sick is that cage shot to AJ's face? Also isn't Tenay's reaction hilarious when it happens?

That is perhaps the best selling of a big knockdown spot I've ever seen. AJ went down like he got hit by a train. Perfectly done.

Tenay's reaction alone made that match for me.

Do you think it was perfect time for Cena to get the belt in 2005 or do you think he could have made a decent champion earlier than that?

Goldberg was a killing machine. He was the Human Cyborg. In WWE they had him as just a power guy. He wasn't supposed to be just a regular guy but rather a monster that came out, beat people up and left. The singles version of the Road Warriors you might say.

I think Summerslam was the point where Goldberg should have faced HHH one-on-one and destroyed him for the title. HHH had a groin injury and they wanted to protect him but they should have gone that route although it was fun watching Goldberg wreak havoc in the Elimination Chamber.

Why did they decide to unify the IC and WHC titles?

I have no idea why but I'd assume it was because they wanted one single champion, which the mark in me would say was because HHH wanted to be champion of the world with no one else around to challenge him.

KB...in this severely tumultuous time in WWE, and I say that with a grain of salt, knowing that the amount of division people have over Miz being champ, and with Cena being gone (for now at least) do you think WWE did the right thing is making Miz the champ? Or would it have been better benefited for Barrett to be champ, or to let Orton retain? Or maybe someone else to cash in on the wave of success for newer younger talent as belt holders?

If Raw continues to be awesome as it has been the past two weeks, will it force people to shut up about "TEH WWE SUCKZ!!!!"? Or will they continue being bitches who can't ever be happy with any kind of product?

The IWC isn't happy unless it's complaining. The complaints will always continue.

True....the split will make for AWESOME live crowd reactions, and who doesn't LOVE seeing unhappy little kids? The little girl's reaction to Miz winning is even more priceless than cena when he was forced to join Nexus. lol
