KB Answers Wrestling Questions

I hope it's okay if I ask a few questions, considering I'm still a noob.

1. Who do you think is the most entertaining wrestler in the world right now? They don't necessarily have to be the best wrestler etc, just best overall.

2. If somebody hadn't been around for the Attitude Era, what match/promo/segment/whatever would you recommend them watching which basically represents everything it stands for?

Thank you for your time! I enjoy reading your reviews around the forum.

1. Punk is my favorite. His matches and talking are always worth a good chuckle or worth watching.

2. Both shows on 1/4/99. WCW had a bait and switch and bullshit with a young guy getting screwed over while WWF had a feel good moment with a young guy putting over a guy that deserved the credit and praise with a genuine shock moment that still works to this day.

So there has been 18 years of RAW what would you rank each year in a list. For example.

1.2000
2.2005
3.1997

And so on untill number 18. As there is 2 months left of 2010 RAW you can leave that one out if you belive you can't rate it yet.

As a trainer for the most part. More than anything what I think this company needs is to have some variety in the training down in FCW. Everyone does the same style so we need some new guys to train and mix things up a bit.

Yeah I think so and no I don't think he'll get the title. Regal is an old school guy and he'd probably want to put him over to leave. Also he's been a jobber for years. It wouldn't make sense to have him beat Bryan.

Does overselling a finisher diminish the impact of it in a match or otherwise like the way The Rock always sold the Stunner. To me it didn't look realistic and it always irked me.

Sometimes but at other times no. Look at Foley selling the Pedigree in 2000. You would have thought he was dead. That's overselling but it works fine. Rock was fine as the key thing is that you remember it. That move was so devastating that it made a 6'5 275lb man go spiraling out of control. Remember in the Lesnar/Valazquez fight when Lesnar went spiraling to the floor? How AWESOME did that make Cain look? It's like that.

Oddly enough I might go with One Night Stand 05. That show accomplished everything it was supposed to as well as it possibly could have done.

Would that mean SummerSlam '02 would be number 3? I remember in your review you said it beat anything for 2nd place (at least off the top of your head).

Do you think it'd be worth it to buy tickets for the Rumble this year? I don't feel like going if someone like Cena or Jericho or Trips wins it, I want a fresh face like when Tista won in 2005

In your opinion, who's next in line to become the face of the company once Cena's reign is eventually over?

Rather weak. He needs to be something other than the rich kid as he's going to be compared to his dad, who was one of the best ever so he's never going to be able to surpass that.
