What do you think about using a Taser in a wrestling match? I was watching Best of Starrcade, and in a match between Nash and Goldberg, Hall used a Taser on Goldberg.

Miz didn't really get a chance to do much. He's in over his head and that's not his fault.
I agree he's in over his head (and it isn't his fault), but I still think that what he said he was pretty good with what he did. He's no Cena or Rock, but Rock is the best talker in WWE History, and Cena's up there, and the active #1 by a longshot. Plus not having Miz say much was probably a way to lessen him looking inferior on the mic to these 2 all time greats.

I'd have had Riley get the beatdown instead of Miz. Miz looks like an after thought going into Mania.
I agree, although I think Rock would be "too smart" have concentrated on the lowly Riley. Him concentrating on Miz over Cena made Miz look like a credible threat, even in "defeat."

And I loved how A-Ri jumped Rock, as it forced Miz to be physical (Rock would have gone after him in retaliation). Also it showed that A-Ri is a bumbling fool, since he jumped him, and they got they ass kicked. Maybe Miz would have waited until the opportunity was better before striking, or not striking at all, so as to not tempt Rock into physicality.

Would a midcard title defended solely in 15 minute ironman matches work in WWE. Bear in mind it's currently working very well in FCW.

If it doesn't become a "beat the champ" thing, maybe but at the same time you run the risk of making it look like one of your midcard champion can be pinned or made to submit 2-3 times in 15 minutes.

Was everything that Triple H said last night about The Undertaker wrestling while injured true? I knew he wrestled Brock with a broken wrist or something like that in their HIAC match and I think he either broke his ankle during the HIAC match with Mick Foley or he came into the match with it already broken. But I never heard about him taping his ribs up with duck tape or having half his face crushed.

How do you mean by "become a beat the champ thing" KB?

For reference, this is how FCW is handling it:

Yes. With a bicep off the bone for a month or so, with a broken Orbital bone (remember that Phantom of the Opera mask? That was why), and most recently with a torn rotator cuff and then there's the usual wear and tear of being a wrestler for so damn long.

Wow, I learned something new. I always thought that mask was just because they wanted to see how it would work for his character.

Anyways, say what you want about his wrestling ability, how much time he gets off a year and his drawing power but I don't think anyone can deny that he loves wrestling and to entertain the fans.

That's nothing to Angle, who ripped three muscles off the bone in the middle of a house show match, finished it and then had to be medically suspended and fired to get him off the road.

Yeah a lot of that was true. Based on a lot of what Foley says in his books, the injuries people wrestle with are insane. Angle broke his tailbone in the match with Shane, HHH's quad tear springs to mind, Taker's injures are real a lot of the time. Also Shawn wrestling with a broken back at Mania 14. Insane.

Beat the Champ is an old NWA concept that a lot of indy companies use. A lot of the time there is no actual title belt and it's used in place of a midcard title. What you might do is have a match to determine the first champion. Let's say Kofi vs. Ziggler to make this easier to understand. Kofi wins and is the "Beat the Champ" TV (or whatever) Champion. He then faces Drew McIntyre. If Kofi wins he wins fake money and keeps the title. If Drew wins Kofi loses it obviously. If Kofi defends five times in a row he gets a lot of fake money (as in like "that's another win for Kofi and another $10,000 for him") and then vacates the title. It never really works long term and a lot of the time it would be defended in only a specific kind of match.

I've never been a fan of it and the idea of using primarily or only iron man matches sounds a lot like that.

Yeah, that's a dumb concept, but FCW doesn't do that. After the Jack Brisco Classic (a tournament with... unique rules to say the least) the winner (Seth Rollins) got a medal (because it's cheaper than a belt I suppose) and he's been defending that in 15 minute ironman matches. Usually against Richie Steamboat. So yeah, it can work as an actual title just defended in a gimmick match long enough to be very good with plenty of spots but not so long that gets boring.
