Did you watch Heenan's 2001 interview where he said the business was done because it was too exposed?

If so, what are your thoughts on it?

Should Heenan make one last appearance in WWE? If yes, would you rather he mended fences with Hogan or remain a heel till the bitter end?

I think I saw it years ago. He's one of about a million people to say that and I agree to an extent.

Yeah sure. Of course he should be a heel until the end. It wouldn't be Heenan otherwise.

What is it with NXT talents having a chunk of what got them over in NXT changed when they debut on the main roster??

I mean I understand that some of the Raw/Smackdown audience may not have watched NXT but if you get over with a crowd doing something surely you stick with it or alter it very slightly to appeal to a bigger crowd

It's pretty high up there. I'd say sixth or seventh.

Ha right on that's what I said too. I listened to a shoot interview by Shad Gaspard once where he said after Cryme Tyme broke up he was supposed to be getting a nice little push until somebody got in the boss's ear but he wouldn't say who. If he's said so do you know who that was and if not who do you think it was? Also how do you think it would have turned out had he gotten it? I really liked Shad and would have liked to at least see him be a serious mid card champion heel. It makes me sad neither of them held any titles even though they really left a lasting impression during their time. I mean everybody who saw it remembers them and their shenanigans.

Given that the WWE is moving to a revenue model based around network subscriptions rather than PPV buy rates, wouldn't it make more sense to cut back to six PPVs a year instead of twelve? That way they could have a proper build for the cards instead of hotshotting their angles for two or three weeks before bumping up on the next show.

As I see it, the idea of monthly PPVs is an antiquated relic of the Monday Night Wars that has no real purpose in a world where the WWE has a virtual monopoly over the industry. It's not only not needed but hurts the product.

Do you think the idea of the WWE Network is beneficial in a PG era? It's seems a bit contradictory when you have television product that focuses on a PG audience (that 7-12 demographic) yet business wise they put their stock into a product that focuses more for older fans. In order to get more subscriptions wouldn't it make sense to focus more on the older fans since they will be the ones buying the product that will in essence carry the company from a financial standpoint?

Fair enough but at the same time it's entirely possible to placate to both audiences. They could do things that will bring in an older fan base that won't alienate the younger fan base.

That's what I'm saying though. That's essentially asking fans to buy the Network when the current product isn't geared towards them. The main show is often going to be the big reason that gets people buying the Network in the 1st place, why buy the network when the main show isn't giving a reason to?

In 5+ hours of weekly programming, why does the WWE find it so hard to do more than 2 major storylines at a time?
Given Reigns and Bryan are headlining Fast Lane, would it have been so difficult to use SmackDown for another major storyline involving say, Rollins and Ziggler, for instance?

The way things have been portrayed in recent weeks, does he now have sort of an escape route IF the fans turn on him a la Royal Rumble?

Also, given how well he has done in the badass charcter, is it safe to say that Vince screwed Reigns big time by 'debuting' Fairy tale Reigns on his return from injury?

Yep. Turn heel and hope for the best.

Yeah those promos crippled him for a good bit. He's much better as a Batista type: talk little, beat up a lot.

Funny enough, I wouldnt mind Reigns being screwed by say, a returning Sheamus at Fast Lane. Too bad I cant see the WWE doing that. Reigns has improved and looks more comfortable but the damage at the Rumble still lingers and him going over Bryan clean at Fast Lane will only set him back once again, lMO.

Do you think Rhino is back permanently with WWE? It was a shock to read he returned on NXT.

What do you think his role will be, will we see him on the main roster?
