Do you think WM31 could potentially be better than WM30? or have the injuries, especially, sort of messed up possible great storyline directions?(For instance,I felt that Reigns defeating the Authority was supposed to happen in order to build him up for the Lesnar match and the Rumble)

No major story so far and nowhere near enoug buzz. Being #30 also has a bigger feel for it.

About that, is it possible to put together an epic story from now till Mania? Ideally, Brock Lesnar's title run and dethroning should be the Major Story shouldn't it? Have Creative completed messed his title run up?

It's REALLY hard to do anything that big without some grass roots behind it. Bryan's story started at Summerslam and had six months to build. We haven't really had that yet.

It's not on creative. It's on the contract situation.

Considering the whole Punk situation, can you think of anyone currently in the wrestling business that could potentially achieve Brock levels of accomplishment in UFC (outside of Brock himself of course)?

What do you think of CM Punk going to UFC and people saying it's hypocritcal with all the hooplah about injuries and taking people's spots etc??

That taking spots in the UFC is a bit different. He's not taking a main event and there's no real limit to the amount of fights you can have on a show. As for the injuries, the UFC is a very different style of training and, from what I've heard from UFC fighters, less grueling.

So, on the wrestlezone site, there is a report of a rumoured return of Roman Reigns to replace the 'injured' Dean Ambrose in facing Bray Wyatt in virtual one-off match at TLC? Think that will actually happen? Does it even make any sense booking-wise? What would be the wisdom behind a serious storyline Ambrose injury at this point?

Really hope it stays a rumour...

Well the story suggests that Meltzer was just throwing it out there and that it's not a report. Just something he coudl see happening.

You know what gets me intrigued in a feud, a match, and wrestling in general more than anything? A good promo exchange between the competitors. I recall Cena/Rock, Punk/Rock, and Cena/Bryan showdowns as recent examples. Those types of interactions really engage me in the program, entertain me, and make me care; why don't they happen very often?

So Reigns won the Superstar of the Year Slammy, which seemed rigged, even though casuals do seem to like him from what I have on social media, etc.

However, was that the best way to bring him back, or is it the actual in-ring return that counts?

Looking at the WZ wrestling awards for 2014, and it seems to me that it has been a terrible year.

The only highspots I see are Bryan having his moment, the Shield guys doing fine on their own and smaller promotions and wrestlers getting greater exposure.

- Looking at wrestler of the year, it's tied between a guy who had most of his success in Japan and a guy who had four matches all year: two terrible and one a squash.
- Match of the year, there's not a lot that's memorable. Shield - Wyatts is kind of running away with it, but it's not imprinted on my mind like bouts of previous years.
- Show of the year, again, aside of Mania almost nothing worthwhile.
- Story of the year, pretty clearly something WWE was forced to do and almost didn't. After Mania, eh, I remember Authority opening every week, the world title not to be seen for four months, stories not ending satisfactorily (Wyatt - Cena, Ambrose - Rollins), the same matches on a loop and that's about it.
- Moment of the year, obviously the Streak being broken. It came after a lukewarm story culminating in a match where disappointing would be a very generous description. The win goes to a guy who gets everything and delivers almost nothing in 2014 and probably the years coming. Plus, it made me not being able to enjoy the defining moment of one of my very favorites an hour later, but that one's on me.

Do you more or less agree? What's your take on 2014?
