From the time between Austin winning KOTR up to his Survivor Series match with Bret did Austin in his constant calling out of Bret ever attack or have a match with either Owen or the Bulldog as a way of goating Bret back?

If you could book one fully black wrestler in the history of the business to win the WWE title, who would you pick? Could you briefly outline the story leading up to the title win and the story following the title win? Would you make it a race related story or a stable related story or a love related story etc?

Which match would you have been more interested in seeing - Kurt Angle vs. Randy Savage or Shawn Michaels vs. Ricky Steamboat?

Best Mike Awesome match that wasn't against Masato Tanaka?

Favourite version of the Nation Of Domination - the Farooq/Savio/Crush version, Farooq/Rock/Kama/D-Lo/Henry version, the post-Farooq version?

Not that I know of.

Ahmed Johnson in 1996 after beating Sid at In Your House 12. No real story to it.

Angle vs. Savage.

He had some decent stuff with Taz.

Post Farrooq.

You ever look at the characters that came out of Blood Runs Cold and wish they'd done the angle better?

Also, Islanders/Faces of Fear = Shit ... or The Shit? I've been watching a few of their WCW matches in 97 and I really liked their look.

As in Glacier/Miller vs. Wrath/Mortis? Only Wrath.

I dig them as long as they're not made into more than they should be.

Huh. I always thought Glacier and Mortis looked badass (ignoring that the guy playing Glacier was a pretty mediocre wrestler). Had they given the gimmicks to some Japanese or Mexican wrestlers (maybe sign Vampiro to help it along), I think it could have been quite cool.

Could just be my MK fanboyism derived from the films though.

Considering Germany had a very solid wrestling scene in the 20th century, isn't it weird that there's never been any notable German wrestlers, outside perhaps Alex Wright?

What type of wrestling gear do you see Rollins wearing. I saw his NXT stuff and wasn't vibing it. I'm hoping some sort of patterned tights similar to Edge

Two Ric Flair questions, if you please.

-When Flair left WWE to return to WCW in '93, had he fulfilled his contract with WWE or had he asked to be released early? I understood the only reason he left WCW in '91 was due to his troubles with Jim Herd.....and that after Herd was fired, Flair asked WWE to release him from his contract so he could return to his WCW roots. Is that the way it happened or did he satisfy his WWE contract and not need Vince McMahon's permission to go back where he came from?

-Given Flair's desire to work for WCW again, what did you think of Hulk Hogan coming into WCW in '94 and beating Flair for the world title on his first night with the company? To me, it seemed like awfully shabby treatment of Flair, the mainstay of NWA/WCW for so many years to have Hogan go over him for the company's big prize on the night he arrived..... and effectively delivering the message: "Hogan first, everyone else second......including Ric Flair." Did you see it this way, too? How do you think Flair saw it?

Kind of yeah, but there haven't been many European wrestlers in general.

That would work.

I thought we were cool and now I have to think about Flair? Drew being released must be karma.

He satisfied his contract. He did some house shows between his last match on Raw with PErfect and going back to WCW.

Huge waste of money in theory, but it made a FORTUNE so it's hard to complain.

Flair hasn't liked Hogan for years.....except when he keeps getting Flair jobs.

The guy who really got buried was Sting, who went from top face to Hogan lackey.

Wanted to run a thought that had crossed my mind to get your feedback.

What if moving forward WWE treated Survivor Series like the Rumble so both events produced a potential Mania title contender. For this Survivor Series would go back to its 1990 format and if we have a sole survivor than he would face the winner of the Rumble for the Mania title match. If their are multiple survivors, than they could either face each other at TLC to determine who faces the Rumble winner or you could take those survivors and the Rumble winner and have them compete in a elimination chamber match (probably not the traditional 6 guys but could still work with at least 4) with the winner again facing the champ at Mania.

I like this concept because it gives the Survivor Series a greater meaning, while keeping the WWE title at the center of everything from Survivor Series to Mania which is the way it should be. Also provides for many different things to play out and potential surprises along the way.

Does this have any merit, or is it a case of overbooking?

Wouldn't work. For one thing, it's too complicated and goes on too long. Second, that gives you four things in seven months for a title shot if you add in MITB. Also the Survivor Series match in 1990 was awful.

Way overbooked.

If you are bored, would you try to construct the best possible card with the names released yesterday?

JTG
Drew McIntyre
Jinder Mahal
Aksana
Curt Hawkins
Camacho
Brodus Clay
Evan Bourne
Yoshi Tatsu

Marc Harris as referee for every match and Long as the booker.

Do you think there's anything specific WWE will spend on with their saved money after these recent cuts?

Has Rusev lost a match?

How do you feel about the name changes to one word, like Cesaro, Big E and Rusev, with their other names like Antonio being taken out?

Jinder vs. Hawkins in a winner strips Aksana match
Brodus/Camacho vs. Bourne/Tatsu
Drew wins a gauntlet

No. It's to balance out the stock losses.

Yeah in NXT to Kofi.

I don't mind Cesaro but Big E. needs the Langston back.

Do you think that with Vince not being high on Adam Rose, that we could see a rebirth of Leo Krusger?

Is there any hope in restoring Jack Swagger?

Who did Corey Graves piss off?

Thinking about the Rock/Trips ladder match at SummerSlam and how the match is a perfect example of two guys entering the match as solid mid carders, putting on a hell of a performance that would be the foundation for their main event career which followed shortly thereafter.

Can you name any other examples from WWF and WCW?

Not really expecting anyone to remember, but after watching John Cena put Kane through the announcer's table last night, can you remember the first time this "maneuver" was used and who was involved?

Must have pretty exciting back when it was new.

That's the best example from either company.

I believe it was Diesel vs. Bret in 1995.
