KB Answers Wrestling Questions

Just finished reading Holly's book, The Hardcore truth (I recommend it), and one of the things he talks about is stiffness. He lists himself, Bradshaw, Farooq, and oddly enough, Jericho as some of the harder hitters. I've heard tell of Cena throwing some big potatoes... But who else do you think is laying it thick on the current roster?

David Otunga, if he could of got the wrestling part down (I think he would have with more time), would he have been something special?

I was thinking about the biggest built matches of all time which drew a lot and these came to mind:

  • Hogan vs Andre
  • Hogan vs Warrior
  • Hogan vs Sting
  • Hogan vs Rock
  • Rock vs Austin
  • Rock vs Cena

Anything you would add? Hogan and Savage perhaps?

Would that be all?

Had the Attitude Era began the same time as the nWo did, which company do you think would have been more favoured and who do you think would have been the more popular star from Hogan and Austin?

For HHH vs. Rock? Judgment Day 2000 (look straight ahead and you'll see a guy in an orange shirt about ten rows back. That's one of my best friends) and Backlash 2000, which is the best show of the year for the best year WWF ever had.

My original question included some of the biggest built matches of all time like The Rock vs John Cena. 2 posts later you brought up Rock vs HHH and Flair vs Sting; are you counting them as some of the "biggest built matches of all time" or are you just stating them because of the match quality?

Build for first. Flair vs. Sting (at GAB 90) is a well built match but it was more of a culmination than anything else. Rock vs. HHH is great though.

Sting is 55 today. Man it seems like yesterday I was watching the last episode of Nitro. Sting being 55 makes me feel kind of old - although I'm only 21. Does Sting have 1 match left in him?

What's your favorite HIAC match?

How many of the HIAC matches actually deserved the cell?
