Watching Starrcade 94, I really enjoyed the opening bout between Hunter and Alex Wright. What really jumped out at me was the announcers saying the Wright was only 18 at the time of the match.

Was that true?

It also seemed as though he had some real potential but if I remember correctly he never really worked his way to far up the card. Was that a product of the NWO stalling things for the younger guys? Or is there another explanation?

Yeah. It's not that uncommon back then.

Stalling. They always seemed to want to push him but it never happened. Then again this is WCW so we'll go with that as an explanation.

Haven't seen many go for a stalling suplex, or any move that is meant to be prolonged. Could this be due to it legitimately injuring others, or is it just not as common to see anymore?

Would you be in favor of relegation system in WWE I will explain:

Raw: Top Talent
Smackdown: The bottom of the mid card mixed with NXT call ups
NXT: Signed talent from other promotions mixed with more less main roster talent
ROH: Company stays as is
TNA: Company stays as is

I think the overall tv rating should be no higher than PG-13 for all programming

If WWE talent still struggles in TNA then that talent would be officially released

This would insure to a certain degree a territory system that WWE thrived off of in the 90's

Rosters could be overturned every 3-6 months with no more than two talents moving up which would mean two talents would move down from the same property that is getting the two add ons

I think it could work seeing in WWE we are getting too much of the same match-ups and the WWE fan could follow certain talent going through the system so they would have an idea if that talent makes Raw or Smackdown much like in the 90's when we saw WCW and ECW talent coming to WWE

I think you would agree that post Attitude Era John Cena has been the biggest draw for the WWE. Outside of Cena, who would be the next biggest draws for the WWE in that time span?

For obvious reasons, matches where teams get a man advantage for a brief time generally goes to the heels. Can you think of a time where the faces got the man advantage?

I want to watch the best technical matches on the Network from all three major companies.

Which matches do I watch?

If you mean WarGames, it literally never happened in WCW. I think there was one Lethal Lockdown where it did and the whole thing didn't work.

I want to watch the best technical matches on the Network from all three major companies.

Which matches do I watch?

ECW - Not much to pick from. Find a Jerry Lynn vs. Lance Storm match and hope for the best.

WWF - Benoit vs. Angle Royal Rumble 2003

WCW - For lack of anything better, Steiners vs. Williams/Gordy from Beach Blast 1992.

With Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley being so similar (in ring, look, lack of mic skills) why is Lesnar more interesting than Lashley.

I just watched 'Mania 19, and agree with your take on the back half being overloaded. How would you arrange the card, keeping all of the same matches?

Also, have you noticed any rise in page views on your site since the Network launched? I feel like I'm on there all the time trying to decide what to watch

Move SHawn vs. Jericho to Taker's spot and put the Tag Team Title match before Rock vs. Austin. Also change Vince vs. Hogan or Rock vs. Austin to the main event. Angle vs. Lesnar just was not big enough with those two other matches on the card, shooting star or no shooting star.

The launch date was one of the biggest days I've ever had. The original idea I had when I was making the reviews was people could read along as they watched. After about a month I realized people don't have access to most shows but now they actually do. I've been noticing a lot of random reviews getting hits so something is working.

I've never seen a WCW PPV, and in reading many of your reviews, didn't acquire much of a desire to. We were always a WWF household growing up, and while I saw a good bit of Nitro and some Thunder episodes, we only ordered the WW(F) PPV's.

I do know a good bit of their history, however, and wanted to see some of the good of WCW on PPV. With the WWE Network having every PPV, what are, say, three WCW PPV's you'ld recommend as "must-see"?

I don't know what it is about WCW but this is probably the 50th time I've been asked this question since I started this thread.

Beach Blast 1992 (watch Sting's match last though)
Souled Out 1998
Great American Bash 1989

Also check out the main event of WrestleWar 1992. It's the best, bloodiest, feud ending battle you'll ever see.

I like Daniel Bryan but I think WWE has grossly overreacted to the "Yes" chants
They could of put any "underdog" character into that story with a one word catch phrase
Its not like the "What" chants when Steve was already well established
Do you think the "Yes" chant is more about Daniel Bryan or just fans wanting to be part of the show
Anyone on the roster could be getting the same response as Bryan is with this chant

Alot of fans are skeptical about the future of WWE
From reports over the last year it seems early on HHH is turning into a Eric Bischoff
IMO WWE is allowing certain stuff to go on only because of no direct wrestling competition
Some may disagree with my analysis but take a look at both Bischoff and HHH and most of the main eventers are their friends

Do you think the winner of the Andre Battle Royal will get a push?

Of course.

At one point it was but now it's fine.

Also take a look at them having a defined midcard and building for the future while being diversified. That's a very different thing.

I imagine some sort of big guy/monster will win Andre's battle royal. My personal opinion is that Big Show would be the most fitting guy. He's been called the Giant. If I'm not mistaken he even debuted as Andre's son in WCW. However, do you see someone else winning, say Rusev?

I was at RAW last night.

1.) I marked hard when Sheamus came out. Is that wrong? He looks massive in person.

2.) When are the smark fans going to calm down?

3.) Why does the Intercontinental Championship seem to me a non-factor around WrestleMania season?
