Was there a reason Shawn Michaels was the ref for the Hart/Taker title match at SummerSlam?

Also, was there some sort of explanation as to how Bret was Takers opponent at SummerSlam?

To set up the Cell. Other than that, he was a big star returning and needed something to do.

Because he had been champion so many times before and had won matches over the summer.

This is what I mean when I say GM's aren't needed. Back then, matches were made without someone walking you through every step and it was fine.

Do you expect to see Jesse "The Body" Ventura appearing for the WWE again?

I'd be surprised.

Is this Kane's worst run with the character?

Oh heavens no.

Unless it's one of the ones you've still got to review... or have you done all of them?

Finished the last one spring of last year. Backlash 2006.

Most of the TNA weekly PPVs, years of Raw and Smackdown, about half of Nitro, a few years of Thunder, some random shows here and there.

Should Batista - Orton just be the opener to make the fans' minds free for the rest of the show and get the anger away quickly?

Is distraction -> rollup -> pin the only creative device WWE has anymore?

Hey KB...I asked this in the spam network thread, but I figured I would get your opinion also. What are some classic WCW PPV's that are must see? I watched very little WCW as a kid, as I've always been a WWE guy. Favorite Starcade or Wargames?

Thoughts on this surprisingly good idea from the main site's comment section?

Bryan vs HHH should NOT happen at WM30. The better scenario that should happen is Bryan is thrown into the title match with Orton and Batista. Bryan wins the title. This would then lead to HHH sending challenger after challenger against Bryan, who would fail to take the title from him. Thus leading up to SummerSlam, where Bryan vs HHH SHOULD happen. Bryan defeats HHH. Storyline goes full circle this way......but obviously it won't happen this way. :/

When do you think you will finish everything? Any idea?

Put these shows in order of enjoyment for you:

ECW Hardcore TV
TNA Impact
TNA Xplosion
WCW Thunder
WWF Heat

It won't happen but I'd smile a bit.

It feels that way sometimes.

Beach Blast 92 but watch Sting's match last
Souled Out 98
Slamboree 94
Uncensored 96 for pure comedy alone

I've heard worse.

Never. There are shows out there that I can't find video of.

Does WWE keep official records on how many times Ric Flair has said: "Woooooooo!" in his career?

I figured the reason they bought the libraries of WCW & AWA was to dope this out.

Seems like something we ought to know, yes?

If Bryan/HHH goes on last at WM XXX should we be annoyed with HHH's ego or happy for Bryan going out on top to close the show?

Is it wrong of me to think that the GB crowd was stupid as shit for chanting CM Punk (though failed), Randy Savage, AND Undertaker during the Reigns/Bray match?

Just been watching some of Kane's political views the past and began wondering some stuff. A) Have you watched any of his stuff? B) If yes, do you see him possibly being a governor or even president?

Nah. They can indeed be stupid. They're just copying other stupid crowds anyway.

A bit.

No.
