When, if any times has a Upper Mid-Card/Main Eventer been buried?

Don't you love this time of year? I looked at some of the threads that are in the WWE's section, and most smarks get out their notebooks and start fantasy booking WrestleMania. I don't know about you but it's really entertaining.

If RAW was live each week in the Attitude Era, would the ratings have still be in favor of WCW? At least anywhere for the 84 consecutive weeks?

If you're buried, you're no longer in the midcard/main event.

Absolutely.

I don't put a lot of stock into live vs. taped. If a show is good, people are going to watch it no matter what.

Do you think that Sheamus and Cesaro in the chamber could lead to a story between the two? Them beating the hell out of each other for 10-15 minutes at Mania could be awesome.

Why were there so many squash matches in the 80's?

Don't you ever get sick of reviewing those matches (regarding squash matches) for the reviews on your site?

In anticipation of the WWE Network, what are some good, fairly recent (let's say from 2002 onward) pay-per-views that may have gone past the radars of the most? I still haven't decided what to watch once the Network launches.

Make people pay to see the big matches.

Nah not really.

Backlash 07 is very nice.

But surely Vince has kind of got that side of business into their heads. Are you saying the current writers do things reluctantly and even though they work in the WWE, they still don't understand how things work there?

I doubt the writers have access to gates and ratings information like VInce does. Bryan was the top guy in the fall but house show attendance took a big hit. It went back up with Cena on top again. That's why Vince is reluctant to pull the trigger on a big run.

Do you think Trips is going to have a similar direction of the company to Vince once he has full control? So we're talking pushing the bigger sized guys more, focusing on the bigger money makers more, catering to children more than adults and all that jazz.

No. He's not going to micro manage every thing and be a very different style. He'll also likely be bigger with continuity.

Speaking of continuity, a lot of people complained that in order to get his match with Undertaker at WM, Shawn Michaels helped Jericho win the WHC from him even though their feud was not long over. Did you have a problem with this?

What would you do with Axel? I feel like the guy will never get over. At least Ryback has the size to be built back up, a la Mark Henry.
