Not really. Dean wasn't a big deal in WWF and he was only a few steps higher in WCW. While good, he just wasn't on a high level for almost his entire career.

Could you explain the backstory of Ric Flair's leaving the NWA/WCW and his arrival in WWF and just how brilliant was it to use the NWA/WCW World Heavyweight Championship and build Flair as the "Real World Champion"? Also, when did Flair return the belt?
Not always a good thing. Henry weighs more than Khali and all that weight takes up a smaller area. You also have to lift him further to get him onto your shoulders.

This one is complicated and there's more than one version of it out there. This is the best I can understand it.
Around 1991 or so, WCW President Jim Herd (who I believe used to run a Pizza Hut) decided that Flair was over the hill and worthless (he would have been in his early 40s) and that guys like Sting and Luger were the future. Flair was supposed to either become a manager or a midcarder (that's an area where the stories differ) but either way he was going to take a lower role. On top of that, Herd said Flair had to shave his head, get an earring, and become a gladiator character named Spartacus.
Flair, having a brain, realized that Vince would be more than happy with an "old" Ric Flair showing up on WWF TV since Hogan was running out of people to beat up. Amazingly enough, Vince welcomed Flair with open arms and Flair debuted in the WWF in I think November or December.
Now as for the NWA/WCW, that's the more complicated issue and I'm likely off on a thing or two in this.
As you likely know, the NWA is basically a banner organization for a lot of individual organizations. Well by this point, WCW had about 99.5% of the talent in the NWA and for all intents and purposes was the NWA. WCW had its own world champion (Flair), but the NWA recognized Flair as BOTH the WCW and NWA Champion, although the NWA Title was hardly ever if ever mentioned on WCW programming. Flair would use the much smaller WCW Title belt as well, which you've likely never seen before.
Well, since Flair signed with a non-NWA company in the WWF, he was stripped of the NWA Title. However, the title belt (the big gold belt, as in the design Del Rio wears today (different title mind you. WWE saying that it shares the same lineage is like saying I'm the King of England because I have English blood in me) literally belonged to Flair. Jim Crockett (former NWA President and owner of what would become WCW) had had it designed for Flair specifically so it literally was his.
In addition to that, the NWA required all champions to put down a $25,000 deposit on the belt when they won the title. When they lost, theyy would be refunded plus interest. Well the NWA never paid Flair that money, so he kept the belt.
In other words, Flair was stripped of both titles but kept the NWA title belt because it more or less belonged to him.
This left WCW in a BIG bind because Flair never lost the WCW Title on TV. Instead it was put up between Luger and Barry Windham at Great American Bash 1991. This was a problem because Luger losing to Flair was legendary. Lex NEVER beat Flair after chasing him for years. The fans remembered this and Luger (who won the match over Windham. Barry was a REALLY weird choice as he had been a tag guy for like two years so no one bought him as a challenger either. It would be like Kane being thrown into the #1 contender slot now over Orton, Sheamus etc) was seen as a paper champion who never beat Flair.
It was a BRILLIANT idea and the censoring was even better.
