If you could assemble the perfect Survivor Series team, who would be in it and who would captain said team?

Hogan already did that in 1989:

Demolition, Jake Roberts, Hogan. I mean DAMN.

I miss those days where you had a lot of great tag teams in TNA. You had XXX, AMW, LAX, Styles/Daniels, and Team Canada that can give you a great match anytime.

On that note, who do you think is the greatest TNA tag team ever? I've always said AMW but everyone else says it's Beer Money.

I think they're more fun to watch than AMW or Beer Money. I think they work better as a team than them as well, with their insane number of double team moves and all. Also, I'm a mark for Alex Shelley, which helps.

KB, please recommend me a Chris Benoit WWE match that you don't think I've seen, or haven't seen in a long time. I'm in a Benoit mood.

Hard to top his match vs. Angle at the 03 Rumble. Mania X7 vs. Angle is also good. Royal Rumble 01 vs. Jericho in a ladder match is some sick stuff.

Actually the bread to this sandwich (Rumble '03 and '01 you suggested in that order) were the two I had in mind.

Well let's see.

No Mercy 02 with Angle/Benoit vs. Edge/Mysterio won just about every match of the year award that meant anything. His Owen match with Bret on Nitro was great. The main event of Mayhem 99 was solid.

I freaking loved him. A buddy of mine (he got me on here) and I used to argue over Edge vs. Christian. I think I won that one. Still ticked off at HHH and Shawn for the shenanigans they pulled with him.

Do you think he can be that good again?

Are they the Survivor Series shenanigans you talked about in your SS '02 review?

Yep that would be them.

I don't think so really. The problem is that those 9 title reigns kind of weigh him down. He and Cena have the same number of title reigns and no one would consider Edge anywhere close to Cena's level. Having lost that many times with only the wins from stealing titles makes him look weak. Also in 02 he was one of the few guys to truly burst through the glass ceiling so no, I doubt be could get there again as the novelty is gone.

Has the Ultimate Opportunist gimmick done more harm than good overall?

More harm. He doesn't ahve a definitive moment other than stealing titles. That's not good.

Yeah for the most part. It's more or less all he's done since he hit the main event.
