I was thinking of what WWE has done with Punk and have a few thoughts and wonder if you agree with any of them:
-Should of made Punk more of a tweener where he successfully defended the title against faces and heels
-Making Punk weaker than Flair as a heel champion has made the character non-believeable to beat anyone especially a 65+ old promoter
-Making Punk heel was done in alot of fans minds because he was threatening Cena's merchandise control over the company similar in how they mad Savage a heel over Hogan

He was a tweener for most of the fall.

Not a fan of the Flair interaction. There's no reason to buy Flair as a threat to Punk without A, making Flair look like god or B, making Punk look worthless.

I don't think the merchandise stuff comes into 99.999948% of fans' minds.

When a wrestler is released, who is the bearer of bad news? Vince himself? Are they released in person?

Probably an agent

Do you think WWE should have archival footage of ROH,DGate USA, and maybe NOAH on the proposed WWE Network and also help thos promotions with DVD Distribution also have those promotions sifh a non-compete clause with the WWE

A lot of the former WWE guys on the Art of Wrestling say it's Johnny Ace. I don't know who it would be know that they seem to be phasing him out.

Trips maybe.

Do you think WWE should have archival footage of ROH,DGate USA, and maybe NOAH on the proposed WWE Network and also help thos promotions with DVD Distribution also have those promotions sifh a non-compete clause with the WWE

What would that do for WWE?

Some of those talents in those promotions could eventually work for WWE. I also think with so many fans think WWE's ideology is they are the only entertainment wrestling company and it would help WWE's PR issues with wrestling fans of other promotions than just WWE

I was always taught to grow a business you must give what the customers want. I would say of those promotions I listed have between have around 1.5 mill fans. There is enough demand at least for ROH programming and I was talking more about archives and possible DVD's. I think at the very minimal WWE could help ROH out with distribution of programming much like VKM did with ECW

I think any fan that enjoys watching wrestling regardless of their favorite promotion would watch ROH. Its another debate between wrestling fans and WWE fans. I am a fan of WWE but am a wrestling fan in fact I am more of a wrestling junkie. Maybe I am part of a dying breed but I enjoy ROH,TNA,WWE,PWG,and NOAH. I am just saying don't you think the CM Punk DVD would of been greater with ROH matches. That goes for any talent that have worked in other promotions if they are fortunate enough to get a WWE DVD their matches and promos in other promotions would be awesome

I watch more wrestling than pretty much anyone around. I couldn't sit through ROH's nonsense. I can't imagine a ton of the people who watch WWE would want to, especially when they're paying for the WWE network, not the indy network.

I'll jump in really quick sorry KB. Most people that watch WWE don't watch it for the wrestling it's for the entertainment aspect. People like us on the forums love wrestling and the majority of us have been watching since we were children so we just look for anything wrestling to satisfy our fix. If WWE did promote these companies it wouldn't be very lucrative seeing as how only about 3% of the viewers would give a shit. Not to mention a lot of fans of those companies can't stand WWE

Did any Wargames match hold a candle to the first one?
Do you think Austin Aries or any TNA home grown project for that matter will ever be considered one of the greats of our business

Do you believe that wrestling is cyclical as much as I do.

Probably.

Would you like to see Cena in the title hunt again

If he wins the title yeah.

I'm slightly leaning towards Punk retaining the title at RR.Would it be a bad decision on WWE's perspective?

Depends on where they go from there.

What do you think the Shield are going to do at Mania?

Probably have a six man.

This may not be the person, nor the place to do it;

How is it that UFc and MMA can get Ronda Rousey over as a superstar, but WWE can't do jack shit to make any of their girls relevant since Stacy Keibler?

Ronda Rousey is treated like what she is: a killing machine.

WWE has chicks like Alicia Fox wishing us a foxy Christmas and Eve with her stupid bouncing cross body. In short, WWE treats their Divas like stupid bubble gum blowing knuckleheads and that's how the public perceives them as a result.

I just can't help but imagine if WWE had any clue, that Eve Torres could have been a massive star to the public; but they don't, so this is what it is.

How would you rate the WWE Title matches between Rock and Mankind during late 98-early 99? Anything stand out to you or are there any spots or moments you liked or didn't like in any of these matches? Finally, do you think this was effective booking having all these matches with all the title changes that occured in such a short time? If not how would you have handeled it had you been in charge?

98 Survivor Series Championship Final match
98 IYH Rock Bottom Title Match
1/4/99 Raw Title Match
Haltime Heat empty Arena Title Match
99 Royal Rumble I Quit Match
99 IYH St. Valentine's Day Massacre Last Man Standing Match
2/15/99 Raw Ladder Match
