Would the same concept of In Your House PPVs (shorter & cheaper) work today?

Surely a twenty-ish dollar price tag would interest those who normally don't buy PPVs due to the cost.

I can only watch maybe three matches from last night due to internet restrictions.

What in your humble opinion should these three be? Thanks in advance.

Yes, but with RAW being 3 hours, does it make sense to have a PPV that lasts 2 hours?

Not really, but it makes no sense for Raw to be three hours either.

Main event
Ziggler vs. Jericho
Triple Threat I guess

With the amount of filler that they are putting on, I agree.

Whyare so many people "almost certain" that there will be a HHH-HBK match at WM? I don't see any logical way of that happening.

Because fans are unable to understand the idea of retirement in wrestling. Shawn simply does not want to do it anymore and he's happy hunting on his ranch.

That, and the fact that there are more than a few 'retired' old guys who came back to the ring on a semi regular basis, so they feel they have no reason to believe that Shawn won't do the same despite the fact that there are just as many guys who actually stayed retired.

Kurt Angle keeps suggesting that he might return to WWE one day for that Mania pay-day to go out on (or he mentioned itonce, whatever). Who do you think he should wrestle if that ever happens, and if it's Undertaker, then please choose someone else? Pretty please?

Yeah that too. I have no desire to see Shawn vs. HHH though so I don't get why people can't just let it go.

Probably Cena or Sheamus.

I understand that it is Angle, but he did recently say that he signed a three-year contract with TNA.

Kurt Angle recently spoke to The Daily Star newspaper in the UK. Here's what he said about sticking with TNA:

"I’m really happy. It’s why I signed a long-term deal a year ago. The number one question I get asked is: 'When are you going back to WWE?' I don’t plan on it but I never say no. I am treated well. I have more freedom to do other things too, so it’s a win-win for me and for Impact Wrestling."

I think it was this past Christmas that I received a DVD about the story of World Class Championship Wrestling as a gift. It wasn't until yesterday that I popped it in and watched it with my wife. Being a casual wrestling fan, I knew of the Von Erichs, but not much really about them. I was born in the early nineties so the scenario eluded me.

Two questions:

Have you ever watched this DVD that is produced by the WWE?

And,

Where would you rank the tragedy (all four brothers) of the Von Erichs amongst the top five tragic events in professional wrestling?

I haven't. There's an independent version with a better documentary. I think it's called Heroes of World Class.

I have an issue with saying a bunch of drug addicts are a tragedy.

This is probably going to make me sound like a moron, so if you can avoid overtly stating that, i'd greatly appreciate it.

Aces and Eights... Why is it so important WHO they are? Why theyre hear is obviously more an issue, but should they demask at all? Why cant they just be a force that needs to be reckoned with??

It isn't. Their leader is important and nothing more.

Understood.

Just curious. I understand the nature of the threads going are regards the natural curiosity towards who's behind the masks, but chances are most of them arent big names, and their identities wouldnt be too big a deal (if not percieved as a let down!)

Yep. Back in the dying days of WCW there was a masked man running around. For weeks he was played by tag team wrestler Kenny Kaos. When the mask came off at a PPV, it was the big surprise reveal. That and the guy who had sent the masked man were all that mattered.

Is Punk a face or a tweener? I haven't been able to watch Raw for a while, outside of the PPV last night. My buddy at work said he was booed on the 1,001 episode of Raw, though he was cheered last night. I need clarification!

Was Farooq and the original Nation of Domination as a whole underused? I felt Farooq could've at least been a somewhat viable challenger for the world title but Ahmed Johnson made him look bad.

Tweener that leans face.

He was a challenger for the world title. He fought Undertaker on PPV for the title at least once and also on Raw I believe.
