Two questions:

1) This business about WWE performers being independent contractors rather than employees: Is that the way it's done in the sports entertainment industry...... or is it just WWE? How does TNA do it? Did WCW handle it that way?

2) What are the chances that Drew McIntyre will come to my door and ask me to run away with him?

What is your favourite feud in terms of promos/storyline/entertainment?
What is your favourite feud in terms of in ring content?

Either Austin/Rock or Savage/Steamboat.

Benoit/Angle.

If I've got about 8-10 hours to waste, what PPV's/matches would you recommend?

Hard to beat some of the old Manias but I love those.

WCW had them as employees. TNA I'm not sure and WWE always has. Not sure on indys.

About the same as him beating Pedro Morales in an age contest.

Assuming he's healthy, it depends on if it's his last match as has been rumored. If it's his last, John Cena. Taker beating him to end it would be a nice way to go out. Otherwise, it's hard to say really. Too early to say and a lot can change by then. I tend to not be one to try to figure out bookings.

I'm currently watching the Rise and Fall of ECW and Heyman talked about accentuating the positives and hiding the negatives. What did you think about that philosophy?

Also, what were your thoughts about the Sandman crucifixion?

I think it can work at times but the flaw came out when the positives they had weren't incredibly strong so they went with the same things over and over again.

It cost them one of the best wrestlers of all time. How do you think it went?

I'm not talking who do you want it to be for WWE's success, but who you personally want to see as Taker's opponent. Do you want Lesnar at all?

Lesnar I'm really skeptical on. I think one day he'll be a wrestler again, but it backs you into a huge corner from a booking perspective. I'd be excited for it but I tend to not be a fan of bringing people in for one off matches. Granted as a former wrestler that would be a bit better.

I'd like to see Cena I suppose. Fighting Taker at Mania is almost a third title match anyway so it's not like it would be a step down or at least not a big one.

Let's say the crucifixion never took place and Angle signed with ECW? Do you think he would have been a good fit given who else was there?

I think wrestling talent is wrestling talent and it's going to shine through no matter what you try to do to surpress it or change things. I can't think of a situation where it's a bad move for ECW as at the end of the day it's Kurt Angle. It would have given them a sense of legitimacy if nothing else. WWF wanted him so he was doing something right.

But would he have become the Kurt Angle we all know and love? If he went to ECW, he could have easily stayed there until the buyout and became just another member of the Invasion. Or would his talent have shined through regardless?

I think it would have come through yeah. He's too big of a talent for Vince or Bischoff to not see him eventually. That was what, 97? Give him a year there and imagine how fast Vince would offer him millions to sign. Not to mention Vince tried to get him already and he said no, so in other words Vince knew about him already and was interested.

I think you can only blame Paul so much for it as he was deceived. That being said, there was NO ONE else on the roster that he could have put out there? Really? No one was capable of pulling a double shift that night?

No. Vince was more or less desperate back then and was trying to boost his ratings. He doesn't need to do that now.
