I agree with your thoughts on the Cruiser title. For the sake of argument, if they did bring it back: wouldn't it just conflict with the current landscape of the world titles? You got cruiserweight guys like DB, Punk, Mysterio, etc. around the world title picture right now. Wouldn't that just not be good for business in a sense, since these guys would be the size of the guys going after the Cruiser title?

I remember when Rey won the Cruiser title & the World title in close proximity, and I just couldn't buy his world title run because he was a recent Cruiser champ. Something about it just rubs me the wrong way.

Yeah that's a big issue too. There's just no point to it. Look at the X Division since they put in the weight limit. The title gets a lot less focus now.

Remember when it was the main event of Unbreaakable and they had the best match in company history? Remember it getting two iron man matches between Daniels and Styles? Remember how it put Styles and Joe on the map? It got focus.

He was ok but he was always a little boring to me. He was GREAT in AMW, which I still think is a better team than Beer Money. They tried him a bit as a singles guy and it pretty much fell flat.
