I would have loved for him to feud with Cena for the U.S. Title and win the world title somewhere around Survivor Series. I honestly thought at the time they were going to have Booker T be the next champion after Eddie given Booker's promo about how he said he was better than everyone else on Smackdown.

Was the main reason Orton won the title in 2004 because Brock Lesnar left the way he did?
