It was the AWA trying to have a major show.

It's based on the Superbowl Shuffle, which is a song the 1985 Chicago Bears put out. Basically it's them saying "we're awesome, no one can beat us, go ahead and try." All of their players "rapped" a line. To the Bears' credit, they only lost one game all year and won the Super Bowl, and the proceeds from the song were used to buy Christmas dinners for poor families in Chicago.

But yeah the Wrestle Rock Rumble was inspired by that. I think even the music is the same.

Do you think that Austin vs. The Rock is the greatest feud between wrestlers of all the times or is there one better? If there is one better tell me who they are and why.

Do you think we could ever see a MITB cash in on a non-WWE event? Like on a live talk show or something?

Do you think MITB will stick around for as long as the WWE, or will the concept eventually run its course?

I like Bret vs. Shawn better, if nothing else for the real life drama.

No. That would be stupid.

It'll run its course.

Do you ever think the Shocker will make a return? Or will Doink The Clown show up first?

Seriously though... Do you see The Rock winning at Mania this year? Why?

I also like Bret vs. Shawn better.

Is Austin vs. Rock the biggest drawing wrestling feud of all time?

No. That would be probably Hogan vs. Savage, due to the insane length and drawing ability of their house show feud. They fought for probably a year on the house show circuit and made a fortune, not to mention Wrestlemania V.

I doubt it. He's too big a deal in Mexico. Doink will probably come back.

Nah. There's zero need for him to.

Ah, I forgot about house shows.

I know that Cena will probably win against the Rock at 'Mania; however, do you think that their real life contempt for one another just might cause some problems during the match? Like one of them not selling or maybe they over sell? Kind of like HBK did against Hogan at Summer Slam, or do you think that they are to professional for that?

Cena should head down the upper midcard for awhile, just to let him recharge a bit.

It's up there. Not one of the elite but it's very fun.

Did the ref screw up in the Angle/Taz match at the '00 Rumble? Kurt put his foot on the rope but it's hard to tell if the ref stops counting the 3.

Would you be okay with RAW being just a promo show tonight, with maybe one Brodus Clay match in between? At this point, they surely need build more than risking injuriies, right?

It's feeling more and more likely that HBK will have one more match and with HHH at next year's WM. He doesn't need one more match. Taker retired him and that's the way it should stay.

Agree?

What do you think of the Orton/Kane feud? And how long do you think it will last?

Through Extreme Rules probably.

Where can one find this? I haven't seen any on your site.

I haven't published it yet. I write the first paragraph of the reviews in advance earlier that day. It saves time.

I doubt it. There's no need for him to come back.

Do you think that the GM match at WM will be an overbooked mess? (There will be 17 people involved in the match, not including the ref.)
