My guess would be that Ace is texting Vince and that Vince will come back and will say "me or HHH" and it'll set up some kind of old vs. new thing. Now that'll be the logical progression. That probably won't mean much though as everything will fall apart after that and it'll be made way too complex and will only resemble that in name only.

Why do you think that the Mistico vs Hunico match from HiaC was so bad? I mean both were Lucha guys but still lacked chemistry. In comparison, Eddie-Rey was always great to watch and much more fast-paced. In the SinCara match, it seemed as if both were doing the moves slowly in fear of a botch.

Because with Eddie and Rey there was a history there. They had a reason to fight. Also it helps that they were simply more talented.

But isn't Mistico considered the best in Mexico? Does that mean that the Lucha industry as a whole has lesser talented guys now?

Totally different styles. Also the best today doesn't mean he's among the best of all time. It means he's the best today.

There is a reason for the Caras' conflict. Sin Cara Blue stole Sin Cara Black's original name (Mistico) so Black intends to steal Blue's identity (Sin Cara).

What was your opinion on Juventud Guerrera as an in-ring performer?

Should WWE have done a Mysterio v Pcicosis feud when Pcicosis was with the company. There is a lot of history between the two?

Yeah, but that's not exactly something that makes me dying to see them fight. It's a reason for a fight, not a reason for a huge feud.

In your opinion, what are the best three Chris Benoit matches in WWE? Best three in WCW, too.

Vs. Angle - Rumble 03
Vs. Angle - Unforgiven 04
Vs. Jericho - Rumble 01

Vs. Bret - Owen Tribute Match
Vs. Sullivan - GAB 96
Vs. Jericho - Any time they fought

Good, knew how to get a crowd fired up.

Yeah there is, but not a ton of people know of it. You don't need history for a good feud. You can make that up as you go.

Unique look. Rey isn't menacing at all.
There are the Reys and Hardys, but there are also the Sids and Lugers. I think it has swifted over the last two decades.

WWE seems to abandon the "billed weights" (and heights maybe?). Do you think they'll go through with everyone or just skip the older guys like Undertaker, Kane or HHH? And do you think it makes sense?

I think it doesn't matter much. Height is a bit different as you can kind of fake it. Weight....not so much. With UFC being all based on weight classes, it makes things look faker to lie about it. Also it might get people saying "well Daniel Bryan is in so and so fighter's weight class. I wonder if he could make this guy tap." Nothing to lose I don't think and it makes things a bit more realistic.

I agree and am all for the realism, I just don't think rigging the height makes sense when you use the real weight. You know, that would make them more scrawny than they really are.

I'm pretty sure there must have been some notable shoots (during a match, not a promo), but to be honest I don't know any (aside from Montreal and Moolah if you want to call that shoots). Can you educate me a bit?

You can gain/lose weight. If you gain/lose height, you might want to see a doctor.

Those are the most famous. They're pretty rare because if you pull one, you're going to be thrown out of wrestling very quickly. Back in the day (as in the 40s-70s), you would have a legit fighter/wrestler as champion a lot of the time. I mean, would you want to try to shoot on Lou Thesz or Terry Funk? The only other one that pops into my very tired head is one that may or may not have been a shoot: Tommy Rich won the world title from Harley Race for I think 4 days in the early 80s. Now this could only be possibly called a shoot as it may have been a small town promoter trying to make a quick splash but it's odd for them to do such a thing. Other than that, nothing springs to mind as they're really rare. Moolah was the definition of a shoot though. Oh and Puder almost breaking Angle's arm on national TV.

Some wrestling promotions co-host events, cross-promote titles, or "share" (lack of a better term) their roster. Do you think wrestling promotions should work more often with other local promotions? Do you think this will help establish a stronger wrestling scene that locals could enjoy?

Nope. I find it stupid. Why should I go see promotion A when I can watch promotion B where I acn see the same roster if they're shared?
