I know you gentleman have a Wrestling Wars thread but I seem to be having trouble locating it so I figure this is as good a place as any. I wanted to thank you and Nor Cal for taking the time to breakdown my question concerning the "should be direction of TNA going forward." I appreciate that you guys broke it down and had a quality conversation about it. Your takes were both entertaining and insightful.
On the show itself. It was a great listen. The two of you have a tremendous rapport. The feel is of two old friends just shooting the shit. When listening it is as if you want to jump in the conversation and find yourself talking aloud with the show.

Is Wyatt still salvageable? I feel like the brand split gave him a good chance for a comeback, but feel like the only way that's possible is for Orton to legitimately be on his side. Orton certainly seems like a left field choice character wise, but definitely adds credibility to any group. It just seems too obvious, as well as same old same old booking for Wyatt, that Orton is only planning to take them out from the "inside" right now.

Well that's my point. If Orton is just toying with the Wyatt's, and he probably ends up winning the feud, it's just the same booking Wyatt has been receiving for years. Never really a threat to anyone. I'm not even a big Wyatt fan and it seems dumb at this point. If they legitimately turn Orton, it keeps him relevant while also elevating Wyatt. I'd even suggest Orton play the heel in the eventual break up. Wyatt's short lived face run before his injury went over very well.

Inside joke aside, Perkins is pretty cringe worthy with all the puns and genre drops. I thought it was cool at first, but after he dropped "You can't just hit reset on your life choices" to TBK, I feel it jumped the shark. I appreciate that they are trying to give him a character, especially one that is so dear to my own heart, but it is falling flat, much like the entire division. Could having him chase the title help reinvent him a bit? He seems a better hunter than the hunted.
