During Cena's first run as WWE champ from Mania 21 up till his injury after the 07 SummerSlam what are some of his highlights and better matches?

Also, was the ECW ppv against RVD the beginning of crowds turning on him? If it happened earlier around what time did it become noticable?

It was also a split crowd a year earlier when Cena went up against Jericho and Angle.

Should the announcers acknowledge that boos for Roman during Mania or just ignore it?

If one of these two where to go down at Mania which would you prefer:

1) Reigns beats Trips for the title and cements a heel turn by helping Shane defeat Taker to remove The Authority which sees Shane and Reigns run things until Rollins returns to take on Reigns for the title.

2) Trips retains the title while Shane beats Taker to create a Shane v Trips/Steph story to hold things over until Rollins returns to see Rollins take on Trips for the title.

1, though as bad as Rollins did for the ratings on top (not his fault), I don't see him getting the title back for a LONG time.

Any swerves that will happen in final 2 matches for WM

IYO is one of the main reasons Reigns isn't cheered is because of nepotism

IYO if Carter's don't agree with new investor for 55% control is it time for them to sell to SBC

If Shane turns heel to help Reigns win title what other members of the heel faction would join. I was thinking HHH stays off TV for a few months then by SSlam Shane's faction vs Bullet Club led by HHH/Styles. Could this work

A bit but they absolute plummeted with him on top.

Indicative of a heel champion, no? I get that kids aren't going to represent that much of a switch but it must be a factor.

It's weird since the Network launched they have almost exclusively had a heel champion. Top of my head, Cena two PPV's. Bryan one. Roman one. Surely they need to send the (casual) fans home happy so they resubscribe. Or is that a completely outdated thought-process?

I'm sure one of them will have something. Probably the Cell.

No to both.

That wouldn't be a heel turn.

Yeah they really haven't offered us much to cheer. It's not the smartest thing in the world.

Meltzer said that WWE thought Eva would get a face pop because they thought it was an NXT thing with her getting booed.

Thoughts?

What does it say about Hunter?

This kind of demonstrates the massive disconnect between the smarks and the casuals doesn't it? Rollins was (and is) one of the smarks' darlings, but the casuals drive the TV ratings.

The casuals also tend to turn off when the show as a whole is as absurdly shit as it is with HHH and Stephanie as the main characters.

KB, any chance the years of this authority nonsense comes to an end by 2017?

There's WAY more to it than that.

Yeah that has something to do with it too.

I doubt it actually.

With NXT, Lucha Underground, & ROH arguably being the three best weekly wrestling shows on TV, & going with the idea that less is more, should TNA cut impact down to a one hour weekly show instead of trying to fill two hours each week?

Factoring in everything from build to aftermatch which WM match was better Savage vs. Steamboat at WM3, or Savage vs. Warrior at WM7?

John Cena, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins are all injured. Add in Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar, alongwith AJ Styles and Cesaro(who is also injured)... All of those mentioned are currently babyface acts for the WWE, or will return as babyfaces due to long layoffs.

Coming out of Mania, nothing makes more sense than Heel Roman Reigns with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship around his waist and him feuding with each and every guy mentioned above. I sincerely hope that WWE recognizes this because I really feel that a healthy WWE roster post-Mania will mean that the Main Event scene will finally shape up for once.

Your thoughts?

HHH(C) w/Stephanie McMahon vs Dean Ambrose

the Undertaker w/Shane McMahon vs Roman Reigns w/Vince McMahon

Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman vs the Wyatt Family

This Mania would have looked better had the matches above been the Top 3 Matches for Mania32, and also possibly resulted in the younger guys being elevated through some smart booking. Also we, the fans would have had alot to look forward to going forward.

Pity, pity...
