Is it just me or has Bray Wyatt been destroyed beyond repair? He's lost so many programs and big matches it's hard to believe he'll win anyway. Then when you add in the fact that over the past to weeks Dean Ambrose has created more interest in a Lesnar match for himself than Wyatt has done, it seems like there really isn't a big place on Mania where Bray fits in snugly. I'm almost just wanting him to beat Kalisto for the US title or something like that.

Nah. Almost no one is beyond repair. Just let him win a few feuds and he'll be fine.

I'm also curious to know why you picked Triple H having his best year in 2008? I remember that year very vividly. I was incredibly excited to see Triple H on Smackdown in the draft era but once he got there I remember the whole run being lackluster. Underwhelming matches with Edge. Terrible matches with Koslov and Khali. He had good match ups with Jeff Hardy though but that's really about it.

Yeah so am I. It's 2000 by a mile.

Let's say last 20 years, which wrestler (s) do you think main-evented the highest percentages of WWE live events? I'm guessing Brock, Rock and Cena are high. Austin, Batista, Reigns, Rollins too. I started thinking, Owens must be near the top (if not the actual top).

Who's worse, Matt Striker or Josh Matthews?

Matthews actually.

Cena and Orton probably.

Edge has said that after he had to retire he had to stop watching wrestling for a long time because every time he did it just made him want to get back out there, do you think the same will happen for Bryan, or will he still continue to be involved with wrestling in some other capacity?

Kind of nonsense given how stupid some of the stuff WWE has commissioned and encouraged. It feels like Vince's latest whim and little more.

I like it. Lawler summed it up really well on Twitter:

If you have three face announcers, two of them don't need to be there.

Was Bret in line for a world title run even before the Flair injury and all the Warrior stuff going on?

If not and things hadn't shaked out the way they did with the main event players in the WWE in late 92 how much longer would it have been before Bret got his first run?

What was the deal with the constant reshuffling of the Uncensored 96 card? Re watching some old school WCW and I'm at this time frame watching the Nitro's leading up to the event and between the countless changes in the main event match as well as the change up in the tag title match wondering what was going on back then to warrant all those changes?

On a main site article, Sean Waltman is quoted as saying:
"WWE did wonders in a two-day period between the last pay-per-view and I was here in Philly when Roman won the title in the exact building in Royal Rumble that they booed him out of the building. I might get heat for this but him beating the hell out of Hunter, that almost didn’t happen. Hunter had to fight really hard to get that to happen and they tried to put an edge on Roman and it did work."

So I'm wondering, how long till HHH takes over so we don't have to see Roman Cena any longer? Really frustrating as a Reigns fan to read stuff like the above given most, if not all fans know that TLC Roman is what everyone wants to see.

They were trying to get too creative I'd guess, which is why things got too nuts.

Until Vince dies.

Am I crazy or has SD! been pretty good lately?

Why does Lawler get away with wearing those loud douchey shirts while doing commentary but everyone else has to wear a suit & look professional?

Just watched that old Festus/Undertaker match, and the finish just struck me with a lot of unfortunate implications. Just like Eugene, Festus was a mentally troubled person who got put into a combat sport. Worse than Eugene, Festus was basically catatonic until the bell rung, at which time he entered a rage frenzy until the bell run again.

And somehow in-kayfabe, the WWE thought it was a good idea to put this guy in the ring on a weekly basis, and at one point put him up against the Undertaker... despite a complete awareness of what he was doing, who he was facing and where he was. In the Undertaker match, the finish is that Undertaker has him in the Hell's Gate, but Festus is too out of it to know to tap. That's the finish, and in kayfabe that was insane.

In kayfabe, you were seconds away from the Undertaker asphyxiating a mentally troubled adult if the referee hadn't run down to end the match. The fuck?

Am I wrong, or is that just horrible on a number of levels?

I don't think they ever gave it that much thought but yeah, when you think about it that's pretty bad.

Then again, using that same line of thinking, you're putting Festus in the ring with someone who may or may not be a zombie.
