After rewatching it, I actually liked how Reigns was portrayed last night. I think that with Brock Lesnar on the roster, Reigns can't be full on "BadAss with few words" and having this type of 'smiling troll Roman Reigns' at times isn't so bad, as long as he does the badass shit when it is time for action as he did to help Ambrose in the Main Event.

Key thing is that all 3 Authority figures have been given some sort of comeuppance by Reigns in the past couple of weeks and that has definitely done a lot to help his momentum soar.

NB: Roman's promo scripts are still shit, tho, and his delivery doesn't help things either.

Steph has got to get the fuck of TV, the "I'm gonna verbally bury you & then literally slap you silly" routine has grown beyond tiresome, especially since nobody ever puts her in her place. I mean fuck, at least Dixie took a powerbomb through a fucking table, 70 yr. old Vinnie Mac took a Superman Punch, & Triple H took the beating of a lifetime, why the fuck can't anything ever happen to Stephanie McMahon?!

Well Roman sort of did last night. She most def got made to look foolish, if the opening segment was all that happened.

That was def every middle school kids dream, to walk off all cool while your cunt vice principle screams for you to stop walking off.

Since there's a very good chance Steph is never getting her comeuppance in a physical sense what happened last night is more or less the best it's ever going to get and I'm more than ok with that.

Steph is all about getting reactions from talent because she likes to fuck with people, Reigns is simply not letting her do it. Steph has always been someone who likes to throw her weight around and everyone has let her do it until now. Over the last few weeks Reigns has basically put her and her threats on ignore and from Steph's standpoint that's the worst thing anyone could ever do to her, that's what makes it so satisfying.

I was there live!! in a luxury suite no less!

I went to sleep at the start of the cage match, anything cool happen in the final segment?

Nah. Reigns threw a half open chair to Ambrose and it landed right side up and fully open.

So we gonna get Cena & Reigns vs LoN & the Authority starting next week, aren't we? Does that mean we are moving towards an eventual match between the 2 WWE Supermen at WrestleMania 32 or will one of them be sidetracked?

I think one gets sidetracked.

No they don't but at least they're not as frequent anymore.

Because it's her show.

Yep. It was almost like she was a character instead of some goddess who graced us with her divine presence.

Like I said in the earlier response: it's like she's a character.

I agree. Thought it wasn't a bad way to go about it. To me Reigns just looked like he knew no matter what happened he could take it so I thought it was a decent job really.

Of the nine broadcasted matches at StarCade '95 Onoo was at ring side during all but two. I know he was the voice/face of NJPW but did he just hang around the ring between matches or did he make an entrance with every new match?

I seem to remember him making an entrance more than once but I know there was a time on Nitro where he had his own table at ringside. THere's a chance they did it at the PPV as well.

Wouldn't it be cool if WWE and NJPW formed some kind of partnership? Then we could see John Cena vs Tanahashi and that would be amazing

Or WWE could just sign Tanahashi as soon as his NJPW contract is up, I wouldn't be surprised if Cena is still with WWE if/when that would happen. Personally I'd rather see him vs. Okada or Nakamura.

Is tomorrow night going to be Vince's last appearance, or is he going to keep appearing thereby admitting that Trips and his woman just don't cut it in terms of getting the opposing Hero over?

I know people'll say that Trips took a great beating at TLC. But, here's the thing, the main thing coming out of TLC was Roman Reigns and the fact that he snapped and absolutely obliterated the heels. However, I just can't see Triple H(as great as he is) pulling off what Vince the night after TLC, far less Stephanie McMahon(whose role in Reigns vs the Authority seems awfully limited, lMO).

He only had so many required appearances and they were used up

That's interesting. I know he was feuding with Giant up to Halloween Havoc. Did they use him after that on Nitros and World War 3 or was he done for 1995 after Halloween Havoc?

If he had an extended break towards the end of 95 how did they re-introduce him in 96 for his last face run before joining NWO?
