So, a while back rumors were doing the rounds that Kaval/ Low-Ki was going to be brought up to the SmackDown roster under a mask to feud with Rey Mysterio. However, the plans were seemingly nixed when he received a leg injury and spent most of 2009 sidelined.
Towards the end of last year, reports indicated that we was wrestling and winning dark matches. So it would seem he is close to a main roster call up again.
What are your opinions of Low-Ki so far in the WWE and how do you think he will be brought up to the main roster? Now that fellow indie favorite Bryan Danielson is due to report to FCW it makes it a bit more interesting; will they duke it out together in FCW, who will be brought in first, will they be brought up together?
Personally, I love Low-Ki's work, what I've seen of it and have enjoyed what I've seen of his FCW work (there is a great little match on YouTube against Tyson Kid). The WWE haven't watered him down too much, he's still using the Ghetto Stomp and the strikes (albeit not as stiff) and is still using his Warriors Way type gimmick.
I think a lot would agree that either SmackDown or ECW would be a good fit for Kaval and I'd like to see him on ECW. More specifically, I'd like to see him brought in via the New Talent Initiative for 2010 alongside a bunch of local jobbers and then proceed to annihilate them all and declare himself the only one worthy and that he IS the New Talent Initiative.
I also think he would be a good fit for Punk's Straight Edge Society, as a vice free, completely focused warrior, who's body is a machine!
Thoughts? Ideas? Opinions?
