KANYON, is it true or untrue?

Getting Noticed By Management
Everyone, I just read the article that Kanyon posted about his appearance in Tampa, this past Friday. read it and let me know what you think?

Who cares.... What he did was good I think. If I was in his position, I probably would be suing!

As for him being Gay? I heard about this last year... Orlando Jones is gay/bisexual too.

Oh my God... This guy crys to much... If he wasnt able to cope with the fact that people are going to make fun of him.. Then why is he gay? I have nothing agaisnt gays... But if your guy... Your going to have people talk about you etc... Personally I think Vito wearing a dress is much worse... I like Kanyon.. But he needs to grow up...

Personally from the sounds of it, I just think Kanyon has gone off his rocker. The "Vince firing Kanyon because he was gay" rumor, I don't really believe it. I think if that were the case, we would've heard it out of him earlier and at the same time, he wouldn't be making those allegations now making Vince and WWE look bad when he's trying to get re-signed. I just think the guy's nuts.....TNA doesn't want him, WWE doesn't want him and he's desperate. He's so desperate that he's making up these huge storylines for himself in hopes that SOMEBODY will bite and show interest in signing him. The fact that he's attempted suicide twice is a dead giveaway to me that something isn't right with him.

I don't buy it that he was fired because he is gay. You have to remember that one of Vince's best friends, Pat Patterson, is gay. I think the WWE released Kanyon because they had no plans for him.

Well, my friend. People don't choose to be gay. And according to his statement, when he wanted to come out publicly, he was given the angle of "coming out of the closet, singing like a ***, wearing a dress, and having the Undertaker kick his ass." Certainly worse than Vito's dress (which is just a less developed Droz gimmick). But back on course: No one stops being gay when people make fun of them. You need to grow up.

Yeah exactly, he was only high up on the card in WCW because he was mates with D.D.P. he was on ok worker but you cant really take a wrestler seriously with a lisp. It would have been better if they had used him as Mortis, a gimmick like that probably would have gotten over on Smackdown.

Next time, if possible, post a link or the article itself with the source to make it easier for the readers to see what you're talking about way

That's Kanyon's explanatoin, which sounds plausible. The whole "Pat Patterson is close to Vince and is gay so it's unlikely that Kanyon was fired for being Gay" that is often said in threads about Kanyon would definately be a contradiction if being gay was the only reason that Kanyon was fired. Reportedly he wasn't fired for being gay itself rather for wanting to "come out of the closet" while with the company. I'm assuming that Vince saw it as a bad thing for promoting the character as opposed to the lifestyle itself being bad. The difference between Patterson and Kanyon is that Patterson was no longer an active wrestler while Kanyon was and coming out could possibly cause problems with fans that woudl possibly throw things or whatever due to predjudices.

So maybe the decision wasn't made out of Vince being homophobic, rather his fear of how fans would react.

true at least Kanyon came out with it and made him kind of feel better about how he feels.I also happen 2 know that Rob Conway is Bi actually. For me,I don't think it matters whether the guys are gay since I have friends who are either gay or bi and I still care for my friends and I just look at them as an everyday normal person and not judge them bcuz they're different and thats the way I look @ Kanyon,Pat Patterson, and Rob Conway in my perspective.
