Putting the mask on Kane, in my opinion, is the WWE's way of making him not plain. I'm sorry, but he's the sort of wrestler who needs an obvious gimmick to be interesting. The whole Big Red Machine was Kanes best time.
As for putting the mask back on him, in general I just find it confusing. I mean, how would that work? He supposedly had it to cover up burns. Will he burn himself again?

You have to realize though. It seems he is asking if the monster is still alive inside of him. We all know he isn't burned, but he also couldn't talk either when he first debuted.
I say put the mask back on him, I was against it at first. Now though, it seems like the only logical solution, and it would work.

Fair enough everybody would love it myself included but they would be much better of making a new gimmick WITHOUT the mask, there is no way a bald kane could suddenly turn into his old way with his mask. and he has basically been a jobber for the last so many years he cant go back to the Monster he once ws that easy

That's where you're wrong. People go crazy for Kane when he snaps. Do you know why??? Because it is believable. Kane is 7 feet tall and over 300 pounds. If he snaps you fucking believe right then and there that he is a monster.
Its funny that yo say he can't go from jobber to Monster in such a short time. Well, it sure seems like he has to me.
I love how they are trying to make Kane go heel. They pop so loudly for him. It's working about as well as an HBK heel turn. Just wait till he puts the mask on. Loudest pop ever.
How would you explain him going back to the mask. The mask was there to hide his face, If he was to go back to it it wouldnt make sense.

I can see both sides to this one. On the one hand it is going to be similar to Taker after the biker gimmick and going back to Phenom-ish, it could really help Kane but at the end of the day he is not as young as he once was and the mask is not going to give him that youth and movement back. Kane of 97 is dead and gone and he is not coming back.
Masked Kane very well could come back but again (Dont forget Masked Kane did indeed come back a couple of years ago, Imposter Kane but that story got dropped like a hot potato) as someone who is alot smarter then me I cant remember who but it was during the WZ wrestler tourney said, Kane is enhancement talent whose job it is is to make the other guy look good. He is the monster that people overcome and they ride the boost of defeating the supposed undefeatable.
It is good to see Kane enjoying another push but I wouldnt be surprised if he rides this one to his retirement in the near future.

Biker Taker was gay that put me off of wrestling for a couple years behind that stunt I was glad to come to see that my regular Undertaker was back. I love for Kane to go back to that unstopable monster he was when he arrived this Kane is pretty worthless he doesn't have a aura about him anymore.
Why do so many people seem to have negative things to say about kane, He always puts on an entertaining match, I've never been disapointed with a kane match just cause Glen Jacobs is such a rediculous human, He could easily become the monster kane again and he could pull it off. But I do definately see the problem, people are gonna love kane even when hes doing evil stuff, Its going to be amazing if he gets his mask back

everyone's talking about a kane/batista inferno match at summerslam with kane losing. that would be the thing kane needs to bring the mask back, and the monster back with it.
i for one am all for it, seeing how currently michael cole could probably beat him in an actual match instead of an impromptu beating. mask and monster would do wonders for the show. bringing him back, and having the ctc/jbl power stuggle over raw sounds an awful lot like something i've heard of before... oh yeah, the attitude era back when wwe was entertaining!

If he is to return with the mask they should take a lil of the old and a lil of the new like they did with taker. Make a new mask that covers his whole head since he doesn't have the long hair anymore. And please don't have him talk anymore he wasn't the best at the mic even though he was scary. He would go over so easily.
We still don't know if the mask thing is going down or not because the clues aren't coming together for me for the mask... I'm stumped on this one... and since this is a spam zone, and I have nowhere to put this, I'll put it here.

Don't put it past the WWE.... Don't you see him freaking out so bad that either A) He disfigures himself or B) Somebody, in self defense, accidentally burns him? or C) Good Ol' JR Gets his revenge! hahaha!
He would have to get back on the roids to complete the transformation to old kane. Old kane was way bigger than he is now. But I'm all for it. When they teased it with the mask talking I thought they should have done it then. Have him destroy someone put them out for months (like cena) have kane disappear a while. wwe(jim ross/cena/cole) goes looking for him ala what wcw did with cactus jack. turn up to undertaker maybe leading paul bearer (I know he's dead but work that back in that he escaped) being interviewed warning wwe to let it lie that they don't want what they will find. Have bearer show up on raw attacking cena. cena fu him hurt him. then a week or two kane with mask returns. but that would make him face probably. but sounds good to me. lol

1. Kane putting on the mask is his last hope. Why? Because that's the Kane people liked, lol. As stated by others, he's been stale as a generic face. If he reverts back to the old Kane that destroyed people, he has one last shot at being noteworthy.
2. On the issue of "how does he put on the mask now that we've seen his face?". Simple. He just does. Confused?......look at it this way: We know Glen Jacobs was Isaac Yankem, right? We know he was Fake-Diesel. We know he was Kane. We know that Umaga used to be Jamal, Helms used to be the Hurricane, and so forth. Do we care? Nope. If HHH can go one day from being a top face to being an evil heel, then at the flick of a wrist, go back to being a face again, people obviously don't need to have everything explained cause they don't bother with it. Also, you have various options for how he can justify the mask. One being that its all mental, like how Mankind wore a mask. Another one could very well be that he burns his face on purpose and then covers it up.

Do you really think people would be cheering Kane if he attacked Punk, Batista, Cena, HBK, Kofi Kingston, Cryme Tyme, Mysterio, Mickie/Kelly? The first three and Cryme Tyme, you risk it. If you have him attack HBK, Kofi, Mysterio, or a face diva, though, you've got more than a decent shot that the crowd will boo him.

Generic face Kane hasn't won a match on Raw since then. But what if the storyline is that the mask and the "change of heart" situation he pulls, making him the "Old Kane", is essentially the equivalent of how ANY face can get their head pounded into the ground, but because the fans cheer, they suddenly get more powerful and win? Kayfabe-wise, Kane's mask could be the spark to his psychosis he's been missing all these years that he's been losing. When he finally snaps and doesn't hold back anymore, becoming the Old Kane, he finds himself winning once again. Know what I mean?
Plus Raw needs a heel who seems unstopable bascially taking the place Umaga. Plus Kane deserves more to be the guy who everybody beats easily ala Wrestlemania 24 vs Khali which was a complete disgrace. Like everybody eluded to mask Kane has a piece of everybody heart. I really don't hear anybody calling for American Bad Ass Undertaker why cause everybody hated that character.
